Sorry guys however didn’t enjoy our experience.The Tiger prawns are huge& expensive and tough-with just a little butter sauce to soften it.The stuffed calamari extremely rubbery with an accompaniment of boring plain whole potatoes and the grilled sole flavourless with boiled tomato rice and an undressed salad.No good tasty sauces-.Nothing was particularly good value 40E drinks for 1.5 bottles wine ok but 60E for food was in fact quite expensive.Not a happy patron.A restaurant we did enjoy with a glorious view , service and delicious accompaniments nearby was O Cesteiro in Vilamoura...

An amazing resturant right next to the fish market, can you get better fish in the town then this?! The food itself was delicious we ordered the shellfish rice which came in a large pot and was delicious it came with crab, lobster, prawn and clams! We also had a desert each which a few dishes we didn't know but the very friendly waitress explained them to us and we ordered the "Don Hose" and the "Carob mouese" both recommended! Very nice fish and seafood local restaurant that tourists started discovering but with à lot of l9cals. Be ready to translate from Portuguese into any translation App ! But you eat l9cal, the restaurant is ideally situated between the harbor in Quarteira, the fruit and veg market and next to à supermarket.
