What we ordered: Beef Ramen and Chicken Ramen

Chicken Ramen was sampled by myself and ordered by my partner, as you got to the bottom of the bowl it was quite salty. Chicken was well cooked although some parts were overcooked. Chicken tasted very much like a chicken soup rather than Miso which is what it was advertised as.

Beef Ramen I thought was tasted, needed more meat but for the price I cant complain, a tasty dish, much better than the chicken one with well cooked melt in the mouth beef.

The service was good, the waiter was very friendly and suggested the beef without the mint / put the mint on the side as it can be over powering. That’s what I did, I didn’t need the mint at all. Although, they did not clean the table we sat on, they just took away the dirty plates and told us to sit down. Which was a shame as they weren’t exactly rammed.

Good pricing for a filling bowl of food, wouldn’t go again...

This is a very cosy, Japanese style restaurant with booths, and anime decor. But then we waited way too long for the appetizers, and then over an hour again for the main course - people who arrived after us were in and out before we had our food. It was unacceptable. And the worst is, the food was not even worth it! It was so bland and flavorless, I wouldn't go back for it. The things I'd order again are the Japanese Rolls and the Chicken wings (those two were delicious), all else (and we ordered quite a few items) wasn't up to par. It was also outrageous how the waitress tried to tell us we were ordering too much food ( we weren't!), which isn't her business and it's just plain rude. When we ordered bubble tea at the end, the bartender also told us that what we asked for "would ruin the drink". Some people have some nerve! So yeah, if you really want to try it, don't have high...

The location is in the pedestrianised Centre of Quarteira a great people watching experience. The food, we have eaten here numerous times over the last few months and it's one of those restaurants where you try something new all the time and we haven't been disappointed, the food is fresh and superbly cooked the portions are generous and the price is reasonable and value for money. The service, well that's their secret Pedro the main guy here is second to none when it comes to hospitality, he has the friendliest welcome in town, we have two little dogs they virtually drag us here and they feel the sincerity in the greeting Pedro and his staff give them. My wife is a Bubble tea lover and she rates theirs as some of the best she has tasted. So this is now down on our go too places even if it's a light bite and a drink or a full evening dining...

Your usual japanese restaurant offering dishes such as ramen, curry katsu rice and yakisoba. For starters, we got the okonomiyaki, takoyaki, chicken skewers and gyozas. The food was good but on the salty side for us. The mains were a bit more problematic, ramen noodles were overcooked and the rice in the curry katsu set is very dry. The yaki udon was the best among the three mains we got. A nice service provided was the bubble tea offerings. It’s alright considering it’s not even easy to find legit asian food in this area. Give it a try if you are craving asian food and happen to be in the area. Don’t come looking for authentic japanese food and you won’t be disappointed. Considering where we are, it’s not easy to even find passable asian cuisine.
