Highly reccomend this restaurant. My fiancé and I first came 6 years ago and had a fantastic time with beautiful food and the waiter Carlos was very friendly and deserves a special mention. 6 years later we revisited Quarteira and Adega do Peixe was our first stop. Was very pleased to see it hasn't changed one bit, and was even more happy when Carlos welcomed us in and gave us the exact same friendly, smile welcome. This used to be a good restaurant but sadly I can no longer recommend. Fish soup was watery with loads of pasta, lacking in fish content or taste. Grilled sea bass was over cooked. Only wine list offered was a branded laminated card, 1 each of white, red or rosé all around €20. House wine if you ask for it is passable at €10 / litre. Wines on the counter display are apparently not for sale? Cash payment only no cards accepted. Sadly we will not...

The place is quite quaint. Definitely typical Portuguese place for food. We had sardines, pork belly and sea bass, with a side of salad to go with it. The house wine is OK. The food was good, but nothing remarkable that I would say I will definitely go back.
