We have been coming to this restaurant for over ten years and normally dine three times over a two week holiday. It is fantastic and very hard to beat. Along with Pequeno Mundo it is our favourite restaurant in the area. It never disappoints. Food is superb and service is fantastic. The owner/manager Jackie is a fantastic host and is so accommodating to any request's you make like if you want something left off a dish or served with something else. That is how you run good restaurant. I put them tot he test believe me and it's never a problem. The outside terrace area under the trees is a fantastic area to dine. There really is something for everyone at this place. Fantastic Fish. I just adore the Sole. Beef and Lamb dishes as well as Duck. Fantastic veg and potatoes and rice. I think all the vegetables come from the farm they use and if you want a nice dessert then this place won't disappoint. All made with local ingredients. All I can say if you are new to the area and want a good dinner then you must put Casa Do Campo high on your list of places to try. It won't be your last visit. We always look forward to our meals at this restaurant. If you find fault with this place then you are...
Read moreTo be honest they say never meet your hero’s . Last time I ate here was 20 years ago and I remember it as the best resturant in the algarve. But times have changed and I was disappointed with the food and service in fact no service as I was stuck on a table in a side passage that no waiter staff could see let alone get to . So as a result we on several occasions chased the waiter staff around the garden / resturant for the basics . The food was not great either to be honest as I had scallops & crab and it was stodgy and cold . My Duck on the other hand was so over cooked I just gave up . My partners meal was well plain goats cheese tart with store bought pastry and her ravioli was 3 peace’s of cold tasteless pasta .
We read the reviews and a lot of reply’s about not speaking up well we did and I complained to the staff member who charged my card . He laughed and said something about ah yes the invisible table ! While charging a very visible 250 euro Inc cash only tip.

Read moreVery nice staff and small but quaint restaurant in Portugal. More of a western menu such as Ravioli, Lamp Chops, Duck Fois Gras Terraine with some Portuguese items mixed in. Loved the irish owner and the staff but have to say the food was not good...ravioli was not good and very overcooked 2/10, duck fois gras which i also ordered in D Lounge across the Conrad hotel mall was the same quality 3/10, it cost 9 euros there and 18.5 euros for the exact same item and sides which was extremely disappointing. My husband rated his fish soup a 7/10. We ran into another guest of both the hotel and restaurant the night we visited the restaurant who was irish and he said he was disppointed as well with his meal. Would definitely not recommend this as a dinner venue unless of course they just care for decent service and a nice atmosphere. The bill for 2 came to 85 euros including 2 starters, 1 main meal and 2...
