Cold, cold staff.

The food is probably the worst in the Algarve, the Algarve has many fantastic restaurants. Spend your money somewhere else.

I had Esgargot, normally you would expect a delightful dish with succulent snails, butter, garlic.. not here, over cooked dry nonsense

We brought 6 visitors, you embarrassed us and you embarrassed yourselves.

The baked camembert should be gooey and silky, not here, it was rubbery. Was it cooked properly or was it cooked from frozen in the microwave? Either way, it was a disgrace.

It must take some effort to find the smallest duck legs and then cook them badly. The process of cooking confit of duck is to cook slowly in liquid to ensure the meat is succulent... you guessed it, not here.

Out of 8 meals, one person siad that the main course was OK, this was the flambeed prawns.

I told the restaurant about these problems, which the restaurant rejected, I was about to pay when Valerie started defending the food, again, which is un-defendable. I then said that I did not want to pay the full amount on the bill, at which point the man in the kitchen appeared (it would be an insult to the restaurant industry to call him a chef) who's first response was to threaten me by saying he was calling the GNR. Maybe this was a familiar pattern for the restaurant... not what you would...

I recently dined at Diplomático Restaurante Boutique & Bar, and it was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. First, the chicken soup was absolutely divine—rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of comfort and warmth in every spoonful. It felt like a comforting hug, and you could tell it was made with quality ingredients and care.

Next, I had the ribeye, and I was blown away. It was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with an incredible sear on the outside that locked in all the flavors. Every bite melted in my mouth, and it was clear that this restaurant knows their way around a steak.

The service and hospitality were also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel like honored guests. They took care of every detail, ensuring I had everything I needed without being intrusive. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and boasts very tasteful music —a perfect spot for a memorable meal.

Madame, Je ne peux m'empêcher de vous faire part de notre profond mécontentement, concernant la réservation d'une table pour 8 convives, ainsi que l'accueil désagréable reçu par vous, en personne. Vous étiez revêche, et à la limite de la politesse, et je reste courtoise.... Si vous nous aviez accueillis avec un peu plus d'égard, Michael aurait lui aussi été plus décontracté. Non seulement, vous demandiez un acompte, car soi disant, beaucoup commandent et ne se présentent pas...Nous n'avons aucune preuve de cela et devons vous croire sur parole, mais par contre vous ne faites aucune confiance en des clients potentiels. votre restaurant était vide hier soir et grâce à nous, vous avez eu une table de 8 personnes et vous vous permettez d'être désobligeante avec votre clientèle....

Cela commençait très mal à la réservation et Michael ne voulait plus venir chez vous. J'aurais dû suivre son pressentiment , mais j'ai convaincu tout le monde, en disant c'est un restaurant français , m'attendant à une vraie cuisine française... Non seulement l'accueil était minable, mais quant à la nourriture, je dirai médiocre : le camembert truffé était caoutchouteux et non fondu, comme cela se doit, le fish and chips très sec, les escargots trop cuits et caoutchouteux et quant au confit de canard, extrêmement salé et sec, avec des "pommes salardaises" sèches et dures, immangeables et le bouquet final les cheveux dans les pommes de terre, que vous ne pouviez pas voir car vous n'aviez pas vos lunettes... Malgré notre réclamation, vous l'avez complètement ignoré et n'êtes même pas revenue pour vous excuser et changer le plat. Quant au vin blanc, qui était tiède, il a fallu vous demander un seau avec des glaçons pour le rafraîchir...

Lors du paiement, aucun geste de votre part naturellement... Il a fallu insister, pour que vous reconnaissiez les faits et fassiez un petit geste, lorsque je pouvais placer un mot car vous n'écoutez rien et avez toujours raison Madame... Vous affirmez dans la réponse faite à Michael sur google, que tous les plats étaient vides... Mensonge, 3 escargots ont été mangés sur 12, un confit a été rendu presqu'intact, après que les cheveux aient été trouvés dans les pommes de terre et vous osez dire qu'il n'y avait pas de cheveux, alors qu'on vous a appelée pour le signaler. Certains ont mangé en partie leur plat, oui, car nous n'avions plus envie de changer de restaurant.... Il était trop tard...

Cerise sur le gâteau, votre mari, super chef, menace d'appeler la GNR. Là encore, cela aurait été très drôle, nous aurions dû attendre l'arrivée de la GNR mais nous voulions passer un bon moment, car 4 d'entre nous avaient un vol aujourd'hui et n'avions pas de temps à perdre. Merci de nous avoir fait passé un moment aussi désagréable.

Madame, la cuisine française, la vraie, même simple, nous en avons l'habitude, Ayant vécus à Paris et à Londres. D'autre part, je cuisine moi-même beaucoup de plats typiquement français et j'aurai honte de servir des plats aussi mal cuits et mal présentés à mes invités. C'est ne pas connaître la cuisine française que d'apprécier le type de plats servis chez vous et à ce prix!!! Quelle...
