July 2024 Perfection again tonight 😋 Piri-Piri chicken heaven!

Update.. Sept 2023 Yet again, what a great meal, and as good as it was in February when we were last in Quarteria.

Feb 2023 What a fantastic find yesterday evening. Went for a walk around the back streets of the town as we usually do looking for local bars etc. Came across here and thought we'd try it out.

Certainly didn't expect it to be full on a Monday night, but it was, however one of the waitresses took our name and said come back in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later we were sat at a table, and what followed was a fantastic meal. I can throughly recommend the hanging skewers, succulent and so tasty 😋

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was cooked to perfection, the atmosphere in the restaurant was brilliant (loud and vibrant) with lots of happy customers having a great time.

Even though the restaurant was really busy and full, the food all arrived quickly, the toilets and restaurant were all extremely clean. And all the staff remained helpful, cheerful and friendly.

Unfortunately Portuguese is not one of the languages I speak, but no matter it seemed all the staff spoke excellent English and there were English menus available.

Went in there for the first time, it was quite busy but the waitress got a seat for us. Then literally she abandoned us, after 20m another waitress started attending a couple that just arrived and after 3m they got their starters, I was fuming and I shouted to this situation, this waitress was much more delicate than the first one, then the service was fast and I got my order in 5 minutes, I had a the traditional Madeira Bread and a traditional " espetada à Madeirense" the bread was really good but the Espetada was not the best I had, in Madeira ( island) I ate much better than this one, the wine was good and the desert was OK. The price was the best thing, in Algarve is not easy to find a place were to eat this much for this price. Unfortunately I only give 3 stars cause I was the only customer who was not offered the traditional "poncha" maybe because I'm not foreign but I believe my money as the same...

This is a really great restaurant. Waiters are very nice, service was extremely good. Quick service as well. I suggest that you take your time, order starter, then order main after finishing starter. It's almost fast food, but it is freshly cooked and very very good. The owner is from Maderia, and is football crackers, as are a couple of the waiters. We had piri piri chicken. Beautiful. Fries and salad also good. The skewers and steak also looked excellent. Beer was ice cold. Frequented by mainly Vilamoura residents. It is worth the walk from the Hotels around the Marina...or Über it. I would definitely recommend to everyone. It isn't a romantic venue, think of it as authentic Portuguese modern restaurant. The walk back through town via the Esplanade is nice. Look for the nest atop the Tower of the Church of Our Lady of Conception on Rue 25 de April. It looks big enough to...
