I visited the restaurant on August 28th and was extremely disappointed. From the outside, the place looked inviting and had great reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. To start, we waited 40 minutes for our starters. When I asked the server about the delay, he informed us that the kitchen had missed our order. About 10 minutes later, we finally received our bruschetta.
We then waited another 30 minutes for our main courses. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, which turned out to be very disappointing. The tomato sauce was thin and watery, collecting at the bottom of the bowl, and the meatballs were bland and lacked flavor. Overall, the dish was quite underwhelming. At that point, we just wanted to pay and leave. When the server brought the bill, we noticed a 10% tip was added automatically without asking, which I found quite inappropriate, especially given the poor service and food quality.
Shortly after leaving, I began to feel unwell. My stomach felt heavy, I experienced hot flashes, and we rushed back to our hotel. As soon as we arrived, I became violently ill and started to throw up.
I would not recommend the restaurant at all. The servers were nice and talkative, but otherwise we had a frustrating dinner, which made me sick for the rest...
Read moreOne hour wait for the food to come on a Thursday. Table booked for 20:30 and food only arrived by 21:46. Granted it’s very busy during the Summer but one hour with no warning and no apology? Seemed a bit crazy to wait this long… Two mains only.
Food was ok but we were so tired of waiting it kind of ruined the experience. Not too expensive either compared to some UK prices.
One of the waiters speaks loads of languages and was cool to see him speaking to every table on a different language.
Surely this must be a July problem so maybe try early hours of the evening to avoid...
Read moreGreat Italian food near the waterfront. We started with the tomato bruschetta which was amazing and full of flavor. For mains we tried the Pizza Gustozza with their chili olive oil (be sure to ask for it), the linguine di mare, and the tagliatelle. Everything was delicious and well prepared.
The service was great, and being by the ocean front made the experience even more special. We were served by Kendali, who was very friendly and brought great energy to the table. We really enjoyed dining here and hopefully will...
