The warm hospitality of Chef/Owner Dinesh Malhotra and his team sets the tone for an unforgettable meal. Dishes are prepared with passion and skill, delivering authentic Indian flavors that transport you to the streets of India. And the prices? Surprisingly low!
We indulged in 5 main courses, 2 types of rice, water, and wine, all for a mere 52 euros. Leftovers provided another feast at home.
With main courses starting at just 6.50 euros and rice at 2 euros, it's an affordable culinary journey. The restaurant, terrace, and rooftop are all open for different dining experiences. While the interior exudes coziness, the outdoor furniture might benefit from some upgrades, but given the establishment's recent opening, it's understandable.
In summary, Tandoori Waves boasts delectable dishes, amiable service, and an unbeatable oceanic backdrop. Expect a delightful symphony of flavors and pocket-friendly prices.
Chef Dinesh's creations are a treat for the taste buds, and the swift service ensures a seamless dining experience. Undoubtedly, we'll be returning for more. Don't miss the chance to savor Indian cuisine with a view!

Read moreI’m afraid I can’t agree with the 5 star reviewers. The most basic of Indian cooking is the ability to make aloo parotha and they didn’t succeed. It was slim pickings of onion and a shred of potato. The boneless chicken left an unpleasant aftertaste, can’t workout which herb they’d used, just boiled chicken breast and added the previously made sauce. The rooftop view is lovely but the chairs and tables could do with an update. Lastly, if you’re charging premium restaurant rates, please try a little harder. The only good thing to say is the Nepalese waitresses smile.
Update: Reply to owner, My dear man, if it was a dhaba style order, you didn’t provide dhaba style food or dhaba price. For comparison, try the Delhi 6 in Albufeira and see what you’re competing against. If you choose to read my reviews, you’ll find I have travelled all over India and am well able to comment on your fare.
I rely on feedback on my journeys from other reviewers and provide feedback to help others decide for themselves. As for information for owners/proprietors, they can take it positively or otherwise. Thank you...
Read moreI used to think it was unfair to compare curry houses here to those in West Yorkshire but these guys are easily their equal.
Very friendly welcome and, whilst the staff are attentive, they're not overbearing.
We sat inside as it was nice and cool, a bit of a respite from the hot weather.
Good vegetarian selection. I had the pickle tray with poppadom, vegetable pakora and the Chana Masala with Tandoori Roti for my main. Very, very tasty and plenty of it.
Level of spice is bang on to my pallet. I asked for medium, and that's exactly what I got.
Highly recommended, in fact, I'm going back again today!
Vegetable samosa and Mixed Vegetable Curry with Tandoori Roti another winning combination.
Dropped a point for atmosphere as, although my mate and I are awesome, delightful company, we were the only guys in for lunch!
Four months on and still every bit as good. Aloo Gobi Masala this time with Mixed Veg starter. This is a first for me, I couldn't finish it all. Saved the rest for later though, it won't...
