This restaurant was a recommendation from a friend especially for Sunday lunch. Upon arrival, I was told to wait for the staff to procure a wheelchair friendly table as i had failed to provide said information on my booking… I found this quite rude. After 10 minutes of waiting at the door without the offer of a refreshment, a table was located. However, the passage to reach the table was narrow and a few guests were asked to slightly shift their chairs to make way for the wheelchair: some guests refused to move their chairs to accommodate for a person with special needs. Hence, creating an unnecessary uneasiness amongst fellow patrons. There was a table right in front of the “waiting” area which was vacant - however we were told it was already reserved…
The Sunday lunch menu offers a few options to choose from: and included roast beef, responsibly sourced and raised. The Yorkshire puddings were light and fluffy. There was an abundance of everything in general. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. The classic apple crumble dessert with ice cream was my choice, and it was delicious.
I think in an area as international as the Algarve, wheel chair access should be available as a default, and not a request. This establishment is very large and I recommend that at least one table cater for wheelchairs and prams and be situated near the washroom facilities and close to an entrance and exit.
The dining experience was satisfactory, but due to the rather unpleasant welcome and “journey” to an “alleged wheelchair friendly table”, appetites...
Read moreDon’t come here unless you are comfortable sharing your food with flies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. Our drinks were lovely. However, everything went downhill upon the arrival of our food. We ordered a sharing portion of steak, chips and a variety of vegetables. As soon as the food was presented on our table, a group of flies instantly attacked our food. We were only able to eat a small portion of food because the rest of it was contaminated. After a few minutes of receiving the food, our waitress asked if everything was okay. I made her aware of the situation and so she assured me she would be back in 2 minutes. She never came back. After a while of clutching at whatever food we could get at that wasn’t already spoiled by the flies, we gave up. What was supposed to be an enjoyable meal out turned into a nightmare. I asked for the bill from the waitress who I had complained to and was charged for the full amount despite not being able to eat a large quantity of the food. Upon paying, I again said to the waitress how disappointed we were with the experience and in fairness she did say she’d mention the issue to a manager but that was little consolation to us at that point. Needless to say we shall not be returning and would not recommend this establishment at all unless you don’t intend on...
Read moreParilla Natural is a truly special dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the scenery set the tone — the beautiful setting with a tree right in the middle of the restaurant creates a unique and natural atmosphere. As evening fell, the entire space transformed into something magical, with soft lights adding warmth and charm.
The staff were outstanding: professional, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, making us feel very welcome throughout the evening.
The food was simply amazing. My boyfriend and I shared a perfectly cooked steak, which was tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We paired it with two different kinds of potato sides, each delicious in its own way. To top it off, I had a cocktail that was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had — balanced, refreshing, and crafted with care.
For dessert, I ordered the Dubai Entremet and my boyfriend had the brownie. Neither was just a “simple cake” — both were beautifully made, rich in flavor, and absolutely delicious, the perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
Overall, Parilla Natural is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. With its stunning setting, fantastic service, and excellent food and drinks, it’s a place I would wholeheartedly recommend and can’t wait...
