This buffet-style restaurant in Leça do Balio gets quite crowded, and the hustle and bustle can make the experience feel a bit chaotic, especially during peak hours. The layout and flow of people moving between the buffet stations can be confusing at times, so patience is definitely required.

That said, the food itself was good. The selection is vast, covering everything from sushi to grilled meats, stir-fries, and seafood, with a decent variety of options to suit different tastes. While it’s not exactly gourmet dining, the quality is solid for the price you pay. Speaking of which—one of the standout aspects of Wok Royal is its affordability. Our group paid an average of 15€ per person, which included the buffet (12,5€) and a drink (2,5€), making it a very budget-friendly option for an all-you-can-eat experience.

This place was great but I have to give it 2 stars, firstly because the food is not labelled correctly, if you have dietary needs or allergies you can not eat here. I found one dish that had no labels, I asked if it contained meat, I was told no, I asked another member of staff, they said no meat definitely, I was still suspicious and found someone from management who confirmed it had oyster sauce. This all you can eat Chinese style restaurant is great if you're hungry or feeling like trying a mix of Japanese/Chinese cuisine. The sushi at lunch time is limited but still very good.
