This place offers the following features: • Picnic Area: Includes stone seats and tables. • Barbecue Facilities: Just bring your own charcoal. • Kids’ Playground: A play area for children who want to enjoy the park. • Walking/Hiking Route: This was my favorite part. The trail is paved with wood design flooring, providing beautiful views along the Leça River. It’s especially scenic at sunset, and the pathway is lit during the evening and night time. • Cafe and Restaurant: Although we haven’t tried it yet, it’s conveniently located. • Parking: Around twenty parking spots are available at the park’s main entrance. We visited in the first week of November. I had read reviews mentioning an unpleasant smell, but during our visit, we didn’t experience any issues.

We visited this park because of the festival last week (September, 2022). So, we did not know for sure how the park was in the normal day since this park was far from our home. Pros: 1. The park is very big and wide. They have small river in the other part of the park. 2. Playground is available for the kids. 3. Entrance accessible for wheelchair. 4. Parking accessible for wheelchair. 5. Free parking. 6. There was temporary restroom when we visited there.

River Leça needs more attention. I've never known it unpolluted but it is better than it used to be The park is a very nice initiative to bring the river closer to the citizens and make them more aware of the urgent need to clean it.
