Canas III — Restaurant in Mira

First time experience and not gonna repeat again in the future. We went here for dinner yesterday night and paid around 35 euros for 2 adults and 1 kid.

I advice you to make a reservation if you respect your reservation time. It is kinda annoying when you saw a reservation table but it was empty while many people are in queue for dinner. We were lucky to wait for about 15 mins until we got a table.

Cons The serving time is horrible. It took almost 1 hour until the food serve in your table. My frango churrasqueira was tasteless. I felt like I was eating frozen chicken without it get marinated. Overpriced but still many people coming.

The food was amazing. Unlike countless other restaurants in this region, the food was warm am fresh. We ordered the barbecue chicken and the burger. The chicken was seasoned well and I can also recommend the rice which it came with. I wasn’t too fond of the french fries, they were a bit lumpy. But not the biggest deal to me. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. Nous avons eu un service déplorable par les gérants du restaurant. Ils ne tiennent pas parole et sont grossiers. On y était pour fêter l'anniversaire de quelqu'un, nous avons demandé au téléphone 2 jours avant s'ils faisaient un gâteau d'anniversaire et ils ont dit non. Nous avons demandé si nous pouvions emporter le gâteau car ils n’en avaient pas et ils ont dit oui. À la fin du déjeuner, ils ont refusé de nous donner une assiette pour manger le gâteau ! Honteux !

I do not recommend this restaurant. We had deplorable service by the restaurant managers. They don't have a word and are rude. It was to celebrate someone's birthday, we asked on the phone 2 days before if they had a birthday cake and they said no. We asked if we could take the cake away as they didn't have it and they said yes. At the end of lunch they refused to give us a plate to eat the cake! Shame !
