Chasselik — Restaurant in Mondim de Basto

We went there with the family. The first person we talked to didn't speak English but she got someone who could. So the communication went well and smooth. The place was clean and modern. My wife and I had salmon with potatoes well seasoned and delicious with a sauce of honey I think. The kids had a children's menu with chicken and they liked it. Service was really good, even when it got busy they always made time and worked hard to make it comfortable for the costumers. Obviously our waiter was well trained and proffesional. It was a good experience and a surprise because we're staying in a village nearby where restaurants are just bad and the service even worse. The prices were excellent and quality of food is good. Pedi o prato do dia onde estava incluída sopa, prato, bebida. A sopa comeu o meu filho, de 4 anos. A refeição, partilhei-a com ele. No final, pedi a conta, onde não foi apresentado o talão. Tive de pedir a fatura para confirmar o preço. De um menu de 5,5€ estavam a pedir-me 8,20€. Cobrou a sopa á parte e justificou que tinha sido a criança a pedir!! Bebi Coca-Cola mas afinal tinha de ser Pepsi porque a coca-cola é mais cara!!! Depois de tentar fazer entender a senhora que não fazia sentido pagar a sopa à parte, tive de dizer que não pagava. Quanto á bebida pedi para fazer o valor então a diferença já que era assim tão cara e tive que pagar mais 80 cêntimos. Isto claro de tentar depois falar com a senhora porque ela deveria ter dito que a coca-cola não fazia parte, o que ela disse que sim que costuma dizer mas desta vez tinha se esquecido mas mesmo assim queria cobrar.

Conclusão, perderam 3 clientes por causa dessa atitude. Era o nosso restaurante sempre que vínhamos a Mondim de basto das próximas teremos que...
