Brunch M&M — Restaurant in Nazaré

Tucked away from crowds, M&M was a delightful find. Definitely worth venturing off the main road to visit. We came for breakfast and the crepes and pancakes were delicious. My daughter loved the yogurt and ate everything in her adult meal which is impressive for a six year old. Everyone’s favorite was the fresh squeezed juices. We tried several of them and all were really good.

We enjoyed our breakfast so much, we returned for lunch. Everything was, again, amazing! The poutine was our favorite but we enjoyed everything. Whether it be for breakfast or lunch this place is fantastic. The owners noticed we returned for the second time in one day and came out to chat with us. They’re a wonderful couple working hard to create a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Of all the places in Nazaré, the orange juice they offer in this place is the absolute best. It’s liquid gold that lights up my mornings. Seated at the big windows I enjoy an ocean view and the quiet of a sunny side alley. During my two month stay I’ve eaten here numerous times and the pancake combo’s are my absolute favourite (ask for the separate menu) and the chicken salad tostada with a side salad. This place offers a quiet and safe space for those of us who travel alone, but it is equally nice for friendly gatherings. Both tourists, expats and locals love to hang around, as the three guys and girl running the place offer a warm and friendly exchange. Both English and Portuguese is spoken fluently....

Brunch M&M came highly recommended by family who have recently moved to the area. What a lovely little hidden gem! A variety of choice for those wanting an early brunch and then additional items for those eating later in the day. All food and drink was freshly prepared and the service was excellent. The cost of the food was very reasonable for the various meals/sizes available. My Portuguese is non-existent however, this was not an issue as the owners both speak excellent English and make you feel so welcome! Will definitely be at the top of my list of places to visit when I come to...
