Sr. Taco — Restaurant in Oeiras

I’m mexican so please trust me when I say this is probably the best mexican restaurant in the area and definitely my favorite.

This place has everything: delicious food that reminds me of home, super friendly service, best quality ingredients and reasonable prices. I come here quite often and I’m always received with a big smile.

My personal recommendations: Cazuela especial (starter) Birria, carnitas and pastor (meat) Rajas (vegetarian, tastes like my mom’s 🥹) Tres leches cake (dessert) Pacífico and Negra Modelo (beer) Jamaica and Tamarindo water (soft drink)

I'm so happy to have a little piece of Mexico near me. I keep coming and bringing my friends here to try REAL Mexican food.

We agree with the other West Coast Americans that this is the best taco place in the Lisbon area, if not in all of Portugal. My test is Al Pastor. Here it is just a good as our favorite Mexican in Berkeley. We also tried the Carnitas, Carne Asada, and Frijoles - all good; started with the Guacamole and melted Queijo. Will repeat! Oh, how can I forget the great Margarita?

We came here with great expectations but were let down by the tacos. My Mexican friend and I have lived in Mexico for years, so we were hoping for a taste of home. While the service was friendly and the maíz tortillas were good, the meat in our tacos were a letdown (especially for the high price). They tasted dry and lacked good flavours.

For Lisbon, this place is better than average. But if we compare it to a regular taco stand in Mexico, this restaurant would be considered average or less. The owners are Mexican from DF so I guess we had...
