Yuzu Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Oeiras

A very bad surprise. I was told it was good, so I took my fiancé that loves sushi as a way to know new places. I was very surprised to realize the quality of the food and sushi is really low and the food wasn’t tasty at all. The waiter, even with really poor Portuguese, was really nice and made as laugh. The environment is relaxed but not a great atmosphere, and the view to the sea it’s nice but not enough to make it a good experience.

We had the tempura shrimps- very oily and not soft and tender. Then we asked for a mixed of sushi and sashimi and it was worse. The rice was glued together, a lot of creams over the sushi as to give it the flavor that was missing, and some weren’t eatable at all. Even the drinks, we had sangria (one passion fruit and one sparkling wine) both extra sweet and not a good flavor.

this is the worst place I have ever visited in Portugal. NEVER NEVER visit this place, this is a money scam.

I paid 43 euros for two menus, and they didn’t even let them take away the leftovers, I’ve never met such rudeness anywhere in the world. They brought orange fresh for 3.5 euros diluted with water, it was not fresh, but orange water - a complete divorce. Paid almost 50 euros for this horror - the poor waiter had to cheat for the whole restaurant.

Do not go there, please never. If you want to eat sushi, visit another place. You will save time and money. The most terrible place in the world, I will continue to continue to discourage everyone I know that they would never visit this place and do not deliver. I also prepare complaints to the official bodies regarding my situation, I promise that it will be the most difficult 40 euros in Yozu sushi bars life.

I went out for dinner last week with my boyfriend and sat out on the terrace. There was an outdoor heater which was nice considering it was a bit chilly. We had the all you can eat menu and the sushi was okay but it took extremely long for our next orders to be picked up and delivered to our table. This was not a big problem until another couple was sat at the table right next to ours (about half a meter distance, despite there being other free tables at a safe distance). When this happened we scrapped the order we were going to place next and decided to leave, despite not having eaten as much as we would have liked, as I am not willing to risk getting covid. I believe the restaurant needs to take more precautions and only fill up every other table or space them out so this doesn’t happen.
