Picanha Gaúcha — Restaurant in Peniche

Group menu with a set price per person where they specify how many drinks are included but the food quantity isn’t specified, also off group menu items were not included. So to our surprise we were only given 7 trays of the mixed grilled meats which wasn’t nearly enough for everyone. We were completely caught off guard after being told that if we wanted more food that we would have to pay extra as we had reached our limit. I suggest that if you want to have a limit on how much food is included in the price, that you put it on the actual group menu and not only after bringing out all the food. It’s a shame because the food was actually tasty but because of my experience I will not be returning, same as the other people in my group and the other group of people who were there as well. Service gets 3 stars and not less because one of the servers was really nice and went out of their way to help us out. What was supposed to be around 25-30€ ended up...

Estive em pleno agosto mais de meia hora a espera para ter lugar na esplanada para almoçar e estava com os meus pequenos tekel, finalmente tive mesa e depois de ter feito o pedido e ja estarem as bebidas na mesa foi-me dito que não eram admitidos animais nem na esplanada. Alguém acha que isto tem alguma decência? I've been un this restaurant in August and I've waited more than half an hour to get a table in the outside of the restaurant (terrace), always in the presence of my small daschund, than finely I got a table and when the drinks was already on the table the nanager told me to leave because they don't admit dogs even in the outside!!! I don't know if this was because I'm black or what, but I really don't recommend this to anyone, a person with this kind of behaviour against humanity and the animals should be punished by nature itself.

Fantastic! Had the picanha, it was cooked perfectly. Sides were awesome. Perfect zest to the pico do gallo. A great meal.

Not to forget the waiting staff, they were top class. Really attentive, worked great together and would be qualified for Michelin level jobs. Never came across this good waiting staff in Portugal. Top...
