Food was good, but we got the feeling that they don’t like tourists - tried asking if my wife and I could play pool, got rejected because we were still within “dinner time”, which is understandable given that the pool table is surrounded by tables of people; yet not 26 min later, they allowed two girls to take the table. Asked for a cappuccino and they were out of cream. Barely waited on our table. Overall just disappointed in the experience. We’re in town for a day to visit our families home a town over and wanted a good bite to eat after the beach, drinks and to play pool and that got soured. I have been travelling in a van around Portugal and spend a lot of time around Peniche. I love Peniche and its the one place I am never bored, but the best part of my day is always going for dinner and beers at the Ricle Bar. Probably best place so far in Ferrell and Baleal, to go out for dinner or to have fun with your friends and family. You will definitely have a good time. Food is awesome and whole crew of Riclé bar are super nice and beyond the words.
