Bistrô 21 — Restaurant in Ponte da Barca

Good things first: the food was okay. Not bad, not great. The service staff was friendly.

The bad: We had to wait over an hour for our food. Only because we asked when we will get it, they started to prepare the food (so it seemed they just forgot). The bistro still had plenty of free tables left. When our food arrived, 2 of 3 meals were missing stuff or were served with something we didnt order. We again had to ask about our (already in the meal included) side dishes. The served french fries and country potatoes have not been salted. Also we had to ask for sauces, again. When we wanted to pay, we also had to wait 15min until the staff arrived. Overall friendly staff, but theyre not paying attention or forget most things. Thats not accetable. They even had 4-5 waiters, which is pretty much for such a small restaurant. Also sometimes if we called a waiter and she didnt understood English, she just went away doing her stuff, without letting her english-speaking colleagues know about our issue. Amazing food and drinks, and the staff are so accommodating. Music and decor are fantastic. We came back twice during our holiday, they even opened up for us when they planned to be closed, and went out for more burgers as they ran out! Highly recommend Bistro 21, one of...

Para o segundo dia em Ponte da Barca decidimos experimentar este restaurante para jantar. O empregado foi muito simpático, deu-nos a possibilidade de escolher a mesa onde queríamos sentar e veio de imediato com carta para podermos escolher. Tinha visto que o serviço era lento, talvez seja numa hora de mais movimento, mas às 20h de um sábado não havia muito e não demorou muito até termos o nosso pedido na mesa. Em relação a comida, é mesmo boa, as hambúrgueres são de qualidade e o pão também. Lugar a experimentar...
