KFC Aqua Portimão — Restaurant in Portimão

Saturday 22nd Oct 24 around 16:00. Dirty facility, invoices on the ground, dirt as well. Even a 2m tall merchandising placate was laying on the ground and I've lifted it myself. I thought: I'm having rather a KFC than the competitor right alongside which just opened this huge new restaurant but I usually rather prefer KFC's quality. Burger arrived: extremely bad prepared - not crispy at all (almost cold), bacon was not crispy at all, huge bread with a tiny chicken patty inside. French fries cold as well, even my small daughter complained. Disgusting, tbh, I didn't finish the meal. Staff was sympathetic, atmosphere fine as it's a common area from the mall. Clearly no management on-site to keep the food quality. Never again, and I live in the area. Not comparable to what I've seen in KFC Lagos, for example, which was really tasty and fresh. And no, I won't write to whatever@kfc for a complaint, as I'm already doing it here. You have no compromise with your clients by offering what I've had there. Newly refurbished food court outlet. Self service machines you can order in Portuguese or English- however unlike UK they only accept payment with an actual card not a phone/apple pay so if you want to pay that way you need to say pay at the till this seems common here where cash or an actual physical payment card is preferred for self service machines. Food was good & hot - fries like the old style U.K. fries & chunky chips available- a bit like U.K. chip shop which were well cooked & very nice chips. This is the 3rd time that we've been there & the food was cold! The chicken was cold and so were the hit wings and french fries. Looks like they make a certain quantity and keep on serving from there, as if they are too busy to make and serve it fresh! And this was at 3pm when the rush had subsided. Went to burger king for a hot meal this time! This is the problem with franchises. They seem to take things for granted.
