All excellent, the price is low but quality high. As for the stolen bracelet, sounds like not true to me as what fool would leave such a valuable item lying around in the room. Hotel is excellent and very clean, in a good spot close to station, which is only £6 from Faro. Don,'t trust mini bus for transfers though as they make you wait at airport around two hours and drop three streets from hotel but other normal taxis drop at hotel. Bus to beach from town square costs only £1.50 so why waste your money stuck in 4 Star on the beach. If you stay across the road at the Made Inn, which is a sister hotel it is still good the same and if you want to do your own cooking you can still use the Next Inn, which has a well equipped kitchen with micro wave hob, toaster, kettle, and all plateaps and utensills. You can get BBC world service on the sattelite TV as well as many English films if you are sad enough to stay in to long. Bar of soap, shower liquid, towels and air on are all provided in the room as standard. They even change the bed linnen each day, which is over the top in my opinion. How they do all this at a low price and a stones throw from everything including the supermarket I don.'t know. I would be proud to be the owner of this hotel and could even tent me to leave the Brackenhurst at Skegnees. Thank youNext and Made Inn....
Read moreWe stayed here for 5 days. Very simple accommodations but the price was right. We picked this hotel mostly because it was walking distance to the train station and the bus station. It in an interesting and non-touristy part of town. That was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was basic but good given the price point of the hotel. The breakfast was a one person show but she was very attentive.||||Now the bad stuff. There was a sign over the toilet requesting that toilet paper be thrown in the trash can rather than the toilet. Huh? The first night I used the public toilet near the lobby, just to be safe. After that I simply ignored the sign and everything was okay, still, kind of unsettling. We emailed the hotel before we arrived to confirm that there was parking available. They replied that there was plenty of street parking near the hotel. This was absolutely not true. Parking was a nightmare, it was the most stressful part of our trip. All the streets in this part of town are narrow one-way streets that require you to drive onto the curb and park partially on the sidewalk. Most streets also have restricted parking which was hard to decipher. There were some paid parking garages nearby but they were not 24 hour garages so we were unable to use them. I would stay here again, but only if I didn't have...
Read moreI’m absolutely shocked by the way this hotel handles its guests. Due to the ongoing war and cancelled flights, I reached out to cancel my non-refundable booking — which I only booked because there were no free cancellation options available at the time.||Given the extreme situation, I simply asked for some understanding and even offered to settle for a partial refund. Instead of any kind of empathy or flexibility, the response I received was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.||The management clearly does not care about their guests or basic human decency. They hide behind “policy” even in situations where most decent establishments would try to help. I’ve never experienced such cold and unhelpful service in my years of traveling.||I strongly advise against booking here. If anything goes wrong, don’t expect support — just arrogance...
