Delicious food and drinks as well as fantastic service by wait staff, Joao (who happens to speak fluent English, Portuguese, Spanish and French)! We ordered the award-winning clams and chèvre (goat cheese) for appetizers and the bacalao, shrimp and chicken as well as the pot stickers and sushi as entrees and we were very pleased with the quality of all our food. The children’s plate consisted of chicken, potatoes and tomatoes with a side of rice was a hit with our 5-year old. Highly recommend the maracuyá caipirinha and mojito as well! What a wonderful, unexpected surprise: when looking for somewhere to go for lunch, a local recommended "The Owl"...and we are SO glad we follwed the advice since everything - the atmosphere, the service, the food, the prices - was perfect. We went for the Salmon Poke Bowl and the veal, and both were absolutely delicious. The pre-lunch nibbles (included in the menu) were also a delight as was watching the kitchen crew interacting while preparing the food behind the counter. The Owl is a popular Tapas & Cocktail bar on the main street in Sao Bras, with a spacious terrace.

The Moss cafe, next door, is under the same ownership. Here you can get coffee, sandwiches and salads. (see map)

You can eat well and the service is fast and friendly (Joao).

Inside there are about 20 seats, on the terrace also about 20.
