Casa Negrito — Restaurant in Setúbal

Came for lunch with the family before a visit to the winery. My wife asked for a menu at the front before sitting outside at around 12:10 on the terrace...waited...waited some more...the family that came after us seemed to enjoy a coffee and some toast that was brought to them, no doubt ordered before (no issues there), at that point we asked politely again if we could see a menu. Waited some more (another 10 mins at least), by the time someone came out for the third time...with no menu in hand we left. Given that we had a two year old with us it’s hard to understand why one would be ignored in such a way knowing that it’s noon and was absolutely not busy. Can’t say if the food is good or otherwise, but judging by the service, skip this place and save yourself...

Great place for nibbles and glass of wine. They do sell lovely nibbles, platters, sour snacks and sweets. Can do cake and coffee too. Good service, well organized. Slightly overpriced, but is worth it. Place has loads of tables, patio and front entrance tables too. Differences from other locations, as is not "stuck in time", they have pleasant/ semi-traditional interior design and service works quick. Place kind of has new/old vibe in comparison to some other places that does not seem...

[Crítica Provisória] A qualidade continua uma maravilha mas alguns dos empregados têm atitudes inadmissíveis com os clientes.

Costumava ir a esta casa com bastante regularidade há coisa de uns anos. Para matar saudades resolvemos visitar de novo o local. Vieram para a mesa 2 fatias de quiche, uma torta de azeitão e 2 infusões de rooibos. A quiche e a torta estavam muito boas. Contudo, a infusão de rooibos sabia a água. Fiquei surpreso porque sempre me lembro dos chás e infusões com bastante sabor. Mas pronto... Acontece. O que mais me chocou foi quando um dos empregados trouxe os nossos pedidos à mesa: simplesmente arremessou os pratos à balda para a nossa frente numa de "toma lá". Peço uma segunda fatia de quiche... o prato é arremessado para a mesa à balda com a mesma atitude. Parecia uma pessoa que não queria estar ali, então resolveu descarregar as frustrações em nós.

Vou continuar a frequentar a casa e disponível para mudar a classificação que dou. No entanto, não dou 2 estrelas porque a simpatia e profissionalismo das pessoas que estavam a atender ao balcão contrastou de forma tão positiva que acabei por não dizer nada. Gostaria que a situação não se repetisse. Não foi...
