Worse customer service I have endured for mediocre food Was recomended this restaurant and aware prices a little higher than normal but was a friends birthday - Staff trained to ask customer to order as much as possible with cocktail menu before food menu, asking if 2 of us only wanted sangria and nothing else - We went for the tomahawk - but they ran out - on order fillet and ribeye - Filet was good however ribeye had some gristle - waiter asked us initially if ok and we showed him but said we will see how it goes as may only be a small part - unfortunately it was not - a bad cut - noone came back and then we pointed this out to a different waiter and asked him to speak to the chef, he did and came back saying sorry not a good piece - noone said anymore except when the bill came, they asked if we are happy and my reply was not to pay for a bad cut of ribeye that you all know was not good - money here was not the issue but the principal - we were then apporached by our iniital waiter that I had to explain again - then a few minutes later by a man whom I assume was the owner/manager - Instead of accepting we were made to feel like we should have not eaten any more and ordered another steak - and he had only stopped when I said a restaurant of your standard and price, would know on grilling this that it was a bad cut - Yes they finally did not charge the €30 for rubbish meat but at the cost of having to speak to 5 people - trying to be more pretentious than they deserve to be with the lack of customer service. This is no Novikov in Mayfair but thinks they are something special - Meat good - service like robots - customer service insulting - Try Carne Do Covento for good food, resonable prices and local service so much better than this one - Shame as the way this was handled literally left a bad...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at “About Meat” in Azeitão, Portugal, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a rustic yet modern decor that made us feel right at home.
The highlight of our evening was undoubtedly the service. Our waiter David, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. David’s friendly demeanor and attentiveness greatly enhanced our dining experience. He was quick to attend to our needs without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance.
As for the food, it was nothing short of superb. The restaurant’s focus on high-quality, locally-sourced meats was evident in every bite. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, while the accompanying sides were fresh and delicious. The wine selection was also impressive, featuring a range of local wines that paired beautifully with our meals.

My wife had the beef cheeks and she enjoyed them. The creamed spinach was extremely watery. A young lady originally waited on us and she was very nice. After that a young man switched to our table. He asked how I liked the meal, I showed him my plate of fat and he kind of shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
