🍽️ Overall Experience While the seafood platter had its highlights, such as the ameijoas and ligueirão, the lackluster lavagante and sapateira affected the overall impression. The exceptional service by Rafael was a standout aspect. The ambiance was pleasant, and the cleanliness of the establishment was satisfactory. However, the presence of flying bugs was a minor annoyance that affected the experience but despite that, this restaurant still stands out as one of the best seafood options in Armação de Pêra.

😋 Food Highlights We ordered the special seafood platter. The ameijoas (clams) and ligueirão (razor clams) were delicious and stood out as the highlight of the seafood platter. Unfortunately, the lavagante (small lobster) and sapateira (brown crab) did not meet expectations. The lavagante was dry and I didn't feel that fresh sensation I am used to feel when I eat sapateira.

💡 Tips and Recommendations Based on my experience, I would order the normal seafood platter instead of the special one as the highlights of the special platter are not worth it.

👨‍🍳 Service The service provided by Rafael was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and added a touch of humor to the dining experience.

Lovely little seafood restaurant. I obviously went there for the platter. It was pricey €85 but compared to UK seafood prices …. A drop in the ocean.

My wife was pregnant at the time and had the steak (which was average) but the star of the show was fantastic. And yes I had the seafood platter (for 2) to myself. I finished it but dear god it’s definitely a sharing platter.

Waiter was lovely and the language barrier did not stop us having a laugh with him. All round lovely place.

If there is anything I may improve it would be to change the lighting to something abit more softer (a yellow’y light rather than the bright clinical white lighting)

Otherwise, I highly recommend a visit for seafood lovers.

Only so pricey because of the platter we ordered. Maybe it's just lost in translation but the platter stated crayfish-there were a couple of langoustines but not a crayfish. Perhaps a few too many prawns, if improvement could be made possibly add some sea snails/mussels for variety and offer less prawns, but still lovely food, lovely evening and awesome service, give it a try if you are in Armacao de Pera 😊 thank you...
