Praia dos Beijinhos is a very picturesque beach and much less crowded than the larger one just to the east. The view from the cliffs on the way down is stunning, and the path is scenic, though you should be careful walking.
The beach itself is clean and charming, and the water is warm. However, during our visit in August, there was a huge amount of seaweed covering the sand and floating in the water, which made swimming less enjoyable. Another issue are the many rocks and sharp stones in the water, which can be dangerous if you’re not careful.
