Restaurante Da Pino — Restaurant in Silves

I wanted to give more stars but I can't. The first time visiting this restaurant was totally different from the second time. First time we went to eat there was around 3pm after a long day driving in the road. So it was almost empty the restaurant. We order a pizza and some pasta with fungi WITHOUT cheese because of intolerance. We ask for a big mineral water, he bring us a Italian sparkle water 🤮 we asked to change (and I think it was not charged in the bill) and we add 2 coca colas. One of the owners was doing the pizza and serving the table alone. We were sceptic that he would be able to do a good service alone. But meanwhile his wife came, she said to us she went fast to supermarket. Very friendly lady. The food came. Everything was amazingly tasty. We paid around 40€ but for the taste it was ok for us. Second time was different! They were very busy! They had only one employee for tables, one man doing pizzas, and both owners were doing the bar, kitchen and tables. It was insane! Totally messy! We asked the same but this time the owner recommended an sangria, the pizza we asked right away to take away. When food came I saw without trying it that my pasta came with different sauce. White cream souce, which I didn't expect at all. first because I tried this dish before and second because in the menu doesn't say nothing about white souce cream... I asked to change it because of intolerance. It took a while to come my new pasta. While waiting we observed that every single table have some issue. Or because it's wrong order, or because it's taking a lot of time, or because they are there long time and no menu was shown, oe because (just like me) they eat there before and the same dish came totally different... Catastrophic!! Every-single-table!!! When finish eating the pasta we asked the bill (we took the white souce pasta because my partner can eat it) but the takeaway pizza was still missing. They forget it. So we wait even more for that. The bill was around 70€. This time the service was really weak and the food nothing special so the price was not worth it comparing to the...

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Horrible service. When we arrived, the waiter walked by and didn’t ask us how we could be helped or if we would like a table. My husband had to go inside to the counter to ask if we could sit at a table. We ordered a pizza and requested no anchovies. When we told the waiter he looked at us and shrugged his shoulders and did not offer to do anything about it until I spoke up. He took it back and all they did was pick the anchovies off the pizza. The second pizza we ordered was also incorrect and my husband had to take it to the waiter as he was not paying attention. We also ordered Coke Zero and we were told they didn’t have it. Table next to us ordered Coke Zero after us and got it. Several other tables around us were irritated with the service as well. One table asked for coffee and the bill several times and never got anything, until they got up to leave then the waiter came running out saying they had to pay. Another table everyone was served there food and finished and one person still hadn’t received there food. Another table complained about their food and the owner was arguing with the client. Took the plate from the client and threw it onto another table. I would avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be served rudely. There is no attention to the client. We were never asked if we needed anything or if our food was good. We asked for the bill three times and still had to go...

“I had a negative experience at a restaurant called 'Da Pino' in Algarve. We arrived at 9:50 PM, and we were told that the restaurant would close at 11 PM. The waitress who served us was kind, but she struggled with both Portuguese and English. The service was disappointing. We ordered starters, a pizza, and a risotto. The starters arrived at the same time as the pizza, which took an hour to arrive, making no sense at all. The risotto came 15 minutes later. The pizza was supposed to be a carbonara with a white cream sauce, but it came with tomato sauce instead. The risotto was more like a soupy dish with excessive sauce and very little rice. To top it off, there were eggshells in the dish. It was a horrible experience. When I complained to the restaurant owner, he tried to appease me with limoncello, but I declined. He also deducted the cost of water, which was honestly insignificant, from the 40 euros bill I paid for a meal where everything went wrong. I will never go back there, and I found the whole experience...
