Incrível! The food, the drinks, the service - tudo foi maravilhoso! Truly in par with the best restaurants in Paris. We were blown away with the whole experience!

To start, the passion fruit sangria is an event as wonderful to watch being made as it is to drink. I will not give anymore away, except that you need to order this - it's fresh and delicious and you will not be disappointed!

We shared the Mista de Vitela for two - veal mix + French fries + salad. Each of the three different cuts of veal were tender, juicy, perfectly seared and each flavorful in their own way. Classic accompaniments of fresh bread, salad and batatas fritas were solid companions that were a great balance with the veal. Everything was so good! Muito, muito bom!

For dessert, we opted for the Creme Brulee de Fava Tonka. In a word: divine. The vanilla bean flavor was so pure. Again, brought me back to Paris. That plus a pingado, I was in heaven!

They brought the bill with a round of shots of some secret recipe. They were amazing! The entire night was layers of perfection, delivered by a very friendly, intelligent, talented set of hosts + an extremely talented chef. Such an incredible feast - everyone needs to experience this!

We chose this restaurant based on the fantastic reviews and it was amazing! From the calm restaurant interior with comfortable chairs and lovely Portuguese music to the spectacular food and the sweetest service, you can’t go wrong. We took the recommendation to start with the passion fruit sangria and I’m glad that previous reviewers didn’t spoil the surprise! We enjoyed some delicious cold meats from Monchique and scrumptious bread with 3 butters. The veal main course between 2 was a meat feast and sooo tasty. We had one of each of the 3 desserts and our table of 4 each chose a different favourite. The wines were top class too. Me and my family enjoyed the most wonderful meal and experience at Tasca-Lado this evening. Ricardo our server was exceptional with our young girls and very attentive to our table. The food was a simple menu to choose from but absolutely delicious! The whole experience from start to finish was momerable and should we be in the area again we would definitely return. Excellent place to eat and reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend for families, groups of friends or couples.
