Praia de Armação de Pêra — Attraction in Silves

Praia de Armação de Pêra is a fantastic bathing beach, perfect for families with children. There is a lifeguard on the beach and if you want to visit the Algar de Benagil caves you can sail directly from the beach. There I would recommend "Universum Benagil Tour" David Lamy is a super skilled captain and good at telling about the area. Just look for the green boat on the beach. Parking is cheap 2 € for the whole day and there are plenty of eating places up in town. One must be aware that dogs on the beach are not allowed. Lovely place . Local and not crazy busy during winter months . Prices are good , and you can always park your car around for free . Local fruit and vegetable / fish market it’s a fantastic place to visit with really great prices . Opposite market local bakery which we visit every time when in town . InterMarche , Continente ,Lidl, Pinot Doce Supermarcados close by . More locals then tourists so more chances for better food , pastries and vino . What a lovely find in Faro. A chilled vibe private beach, with friendly professional staff. The decor is cool and calm and the music is smooth without being too loud, allowing kids to nap, and still setting a summer buzz.
