Poor service and very average food for the price you pay. It also took a long time for the food to arrive. Whenever my friends and I asked how much longer till any of the dishes we ordered would arrive, the waiter was very rude and abrupt and not willing to help. Chose to come here as we were ravenous and wanted food ASAP- only to be left feeling hungry for a good hour before the food arrived. People who arrived up to 15-20 min after we did got their food before my friends and I. Very disappointing experience and while we were around the area, we were happy not to go there again. Food was edible. Food overpriced for the quality. We’d booked a table. Awful service, waiter holding his head in his hands and shaking his head while we decided desserts (which are obviously brought in and were delicious), not interested, just there cos he needed a job but never learnt how to be a waiter. His employer should give training. The other male waiter couldn’t speak English. All overpriced and nobody interested in selling you anything. They missed an upsale on our drinks. If this place didn’t have the view, it’d struggle. So many other better places to eat in Salema (Lourenço, Spice Cottage, Boia, Casa Pizza). Tourists beware! I guess that the people who right good reviews about this place have been lucky or drunk a little too much and do not realise that they have been conned. Been there twice and never again. Only good thing about it is the view over the sea and the small portions of food if you want to lose weight. Grilled sardines come with only half a boiled potato. Apparently that is the way that the have always served them and always will regardless of what customers think. Over priced tropical salad comes with some sauce on it which looks like vomit.
