Casa de Praia is a neat and cozy restaurant that is located just in front of the beach. It is really a small staircase down and you walk on the boulevard of Praia da Vinha da Areia. Right next to the restaurant is Aqua Park dos Acores, which is a large swimming park. A combination of a swimming park or beach and then a delicious dinner is highly recommended from my side.
The menu is extensive and offers options for every eater (including children and vegetarians). From burgers to a fancy fish appetizer, it's all here. Furthermore, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, with very good music.
The food didn't take too long to be made, but unfortunately a side dish was missed. This was soon forgotten by the sweet and enthusiastic character of our waiter. You could feel her love for serving and we didn't blame anyone for the misunderstanding.
There isn't really a big negative aspect to mention about this restaurant, except that there was no soap and paper to dry your hands (even after we repeatedly reported this to the bartenders). Furthermore, there were light sensors in the toilet area, which in itself makes sense to save electricity. However, in my opinion this is a bit annoying because the light is always out.
However, I can not bring these minuses to light, because in short it is a good and tasty restaurant. A 5/5...
Read moreUnfortunately they had a big reservation inside so the waiter told us that we are only able to sit outside and that was totally fine for us. we told him that we wanted to sit in the shadow and there was a free table. he said he has to clean the table which was fine for us too. we already sat down and waited for some one to clean the table and take our order. after around half an hour we left because all tables around us got their food und were able to order beside us… it wasn’t a good experience… at least the view was great....
