I have been visiting Pizzaria Lua do Sul in Vila Franca do Campo for the past seven years (2x a year every time I come to visit family), and it has become a tradition for us. Each time I step foot into this charming pizzeria, I am greeted with warm smiles and a delightful aroma of freshly baked pizzas. First and foremost, the pizzas at Pizzaria Lua do Sul are simply outstanding. Their mushroom pizza and chouriço pizza are my personal favorites. The flavors are rich, the ingredients are fresh, and the cheese is generously layered. The thick dough style with an amazing crust adds a delightful texture to every bite. It is evident that the chefs take great pride in their craft, and it truly shows in the quality of their pizzas. We love the addition to the menu - American-style onion rings. These crispy, golden rings were an absolute delight. They perfectly complemented the pizzas and added a unique twist to the overall experience. A decent, family run pizza place. Felt like a suburban area with shops. There's outdoor seating with picnic benches set up. I think there's some indoor seating as well. You order at the window and pick up your pizza/drinks there. When I was there they didn't have individual slices, so I had to get a small pie, at least half of which I had to take away. Not sure if they typically offer slices, so something to consider. I was not planning to spend 8-10 Euro on just pizza without a beverage.
