Not just a tourist trap, but also godfather behaviour and ready to punch you and coming close to you , when I said that for what I ate I am not willing to pay 18 euros for cod. 18 euros for half a portion of cod (the chips were actually nice )? Even at Santorini during high season that you get gorgeous fresh battered code you would not pay more than 14 euro . Appalling behaviour , I told them to call the GNR as I wanted to talk to them but because I had the dogs with me I could not have them waiting. Never again, it opened my eyes. And frankly I can cook the cod better than them and with many different batters. My complaint will be filed with GNR , as the restaurant on the other side for the same charge 15 at least.

Don't go to this place without checking the menu !!! How did I fall for it , I could feel the energies were not right, and the boss and staff were not right either. In case of a reply from the establishment, whatever they say they are wrong. Trying to bully me and show me their muscles is not a way . I told them I am not paying that amount , I offered them how much I would pay.

Anyway long story short, leave this place to the desperate ones. And then they took a huge many inches screen out for the football so definitely even further showing the tourist trap situation. A great place doesn't need whistles...

Feels unfair to rate the place, as I tried something I didnt particularly like. Arroz de cabidela, is a rooster stew made from home, free range bird and is considered a delicacy in Portugal. It does take some blood for the flavour and has vinagre to balance the dish. It was a must try, and my husband confirmed that is was delicious and well made. Really bad customer service. The staff were rude and unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. When we only wanted to order starters, they treated us like criminals and pressured us to order main meals instead, questioning us in a way that was unnecessary and uncomfortable. The whole experience felt hostile rather than hospitable. Instead of enjoying a meal, we were left feeling judged and unwelcome.
