Meia Banana - Snack-Bar, Lda. — Restaurant in Vila Nova de Gaia

Last week we had dinner here to celebrate our anniversary. It was almost 10 pm and gladly they were still open. What it showed in Google maps was not correct. They are open until 11 pm. I highly recommend this local restaurant.

Pros Entrance accessible for wheelchairs. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was night, we chose to be inside. They serve several types of Portuguese traditional food and I did not regret it. I ordered cachorro and it came with francesinha molho. My partner had bife com molho cogumelos. The dish came with batata frita, egg, and rice as well. Both portions are more than enough for two of us. I could not eat all my cachorro because it was much. I will honestly say that they have the best homemade picante! I adore it. The best so far since I moved to Portugal. The staff are very polite and nice. They accept payment in cash or multibanco. Free wifi.

Cons It is a bit tricky to find parking. I can say the price is a bit expensive for my cachorro size. Cachorro is 10 euros Bife com...

There was a person doing crazy noises outside and the workers did say nothing.... And the FINO... 1,70€ CRAZY........ MADNESS 1,70,€ ONE SMALL BEER IN THE GLASS..... DRINK 3 SMALL BEER AND WAS 5,10 EUROS..... NEVER WILL GO BACK FOR THE BEER...... NEVER! 1.20 FOR A FINO IS ALREADY THE LIMIT.... AND ABOVE NORMAL.... UM EURO E SEYENTA UM FINO.... VAO ROUBAR QUEM NAO...

Há vários anos que frequento esta casa e infelizmente a ultima vez que lá estive foi uma desilusão. Sempre venho aqui para comer Francesinha porque considero os ingredientes de excelente qualidade, mas a ultima o que me apresentaram foi um bife muito fino pouco salsicha e linguiça. Aquela que era a minha francesinha favorita passou para segundo plano. Lamento mas pelo preço que vendem tem de ser com om bife mais generoso. Compreendo que a carne está cara mas nesse caso ajustem o preço e sirvam como deve ser. A quantidade das batatas também são muito mal servidas. Quanto ao atendimento há muito tempo que é de fraca qualidade. Não que os funcionários sejam incompetentes mas sim de uma tremenda falta de simpatia e entusiasmo a trabalhar. Se procuram um espaço onde são servidos com simpatia esqueçam este local. Quanto a francesinha continua a ser muito boa mas mal servida para o preço o que me vai fazer questionar na próxima se...
