This place is the most amazing little restaurant I have ever been to. We came across this place on our very short trip of 2 days to Porto and we visited this place 3 times. We made it a point to make a stop in Porto again on our trip just to eat at this place one more time before we left Portugal. Paula is an amazing chef with a lot of charisma and she makes all her food with love. It was great getting to know her a little and about her time in Paris as a chef which is evident in the dishes she makes. It has a daily menu depending on what she finds in the market that day and what inspires her and the food is DIVINE! Every dish was perfectly made and very very reasonably priced. We fell in love with this place so much that we are already planning to visit Porto again just to eat Paula’s food again. I’m from Sri Lanka so it’s a completely different part of the world for me to travel to again so you can imagine how special this place is. It’s been a few weeks since we visited but this place has become a topic we love talking about daily. Really can’t...

You will be coming to the right place.
From the start, the owner welcomed us with a warm smile. She told us to sit wherever we would like. And pointed to the menu on the wall.
It's a small menu, but judging from the food we ate, the rest of the menu will have been cooked the exact same way. Passion and experience.
My wife is a pescatarian. She wanted something veggie, but you could tell she wanted more than a salad or soup. The owner knew the look of a hungry traveller and asked her did you want rice?
So my wife had a soup. No rice.
What this lady had done was made another dish that was not on the menu, and it looked amazing. Cooked from fresh.
I had a Chilli con carne, and it was beautiful. She gave me a bottle of chilli oil. The oil had a lovely heat to it but didn't overpower the food. There was enough mince meat in there for me to notice how much there was.

Read moreThe best food we had in Portugal, outstanding hospitality and the most homy atmosphere possible. It's a tiny little restaurant with only 12 seats and a lovely local woman that does everything by herself. She has a background in the restaurant business in Paris and you can really taste that she is a phenomenal chef! The menu changes every day because she goes shopping and chooses what looks good, and prepares it in whichever way she feels inspired to that day. We went there twice and every single thing we tasted was perfectly executed! The price is also extremely fair. The 2 of us had starters, mains, desserts and drinks both times and payed only 32€. Unbeatable value for money!
The chef is very charming and it feels like you are a guest at her home! She really seems to enjoy what...
