Pastelaria Capuchinha — Restaurant in Viseu

The cakes are very good but the service is extremely bad. They didn't accept our order at the counter because we would be seated. We order to the waiter, who is extremely slow, he repeats it to the 1st guy at the counter and it takes ages.... we were in a hurry so this was really annoying. Then we were supposed to have a discount from our hotel, but we had checkout already and he wanted to see the the card key...this was never mentioned and he said he could not do anything. We even showed the booking in our phone but no... It's not about the discount is about advertising something and then saying there are additional conditions that were not said in the begging. At the end the bill was also wrong... very bad...

A pior experiência que alguma vez tive numa pastelaria. Uma vergonha, uma desorganização total. Eu e centenas de outros clientes, que tivemos o cuidado de fazer encomendas de Natal com antecedência, ficámos horas á espera da entrega das mesmas no dia 24 de dezembro.

Porque é que aceitam encomendas de Natal para levantar a X horas, se depois não as prepararam e os clientes têm de esperar na rua até 3 horas depois da hora marcada?!?! Uma vergonha. Como é que a gerência deste estabelecimento deixa acontecer uma situação destas sabendo da afluência no Natal?

-entre 2 a 3 horas à espera após a hora combinada para levantar a encomenda. -as encomendas vieram com produtos e quantidades erradas! -não têm multibanco! -lixo no chão, falta de higiene, desarrumaçao generalizada (onde anda a ASAE?) -colaboradores stressados e mal dispostos. Outros arrogantes.

Como consumidores devemos falar com a nossa carteira. Nunca mais vou comprar nada neste estabelecimento e encorajo todos a fazer o mesmo. É preciso quebrar a "fama" desta casa para a gerência mudar a sua relação com os clientes. If you are a visiting tourist, don't fall for this venue fame. Stay away from this place! Support other local pastry shops that offer similar food with much better service and...

So we had no idea what to get except one that was coconut and shaped like a triangle -viriatos. But everything looked so good in this place we didn't know what else to get! Thankfully our server knows English, and helped us get what to have for now plus recommendations for take away for the next day!! Love their pastries but even more for their level of service!
