McDonald's Lusail Boulevard — Restaurant in Al-Daayen

I visited this branch on February 6, 2025, and placed an order which I paid for using my card. During the transaction, an EFT error occurred. The staff informed me that I would need to make the payment again and that the previous amount would be refunded within a few working days. They also provided me with a contact number for follow-up.

However, despite multiple attempts to contact the branch, I was repeatedly told that the refund would be processed soon — but it has now been over eight months, and I have still not received my refund.

On October 9, 2025, I revisited the branch and mentioned the issue again. The manager initially told me that I would not be charged for the previous order, but shortly after, another staff member approached me and said that I would have to pay for the order and that the issue would be raised with HR.

This situation has been handled in a very unprofessional manner. It is not about the money, but about the poor customer service and lack of accountability shown by the staff. The experience was both frustrating and...

I live in lusail and orders come from this branch. I don’t believe the staff know how to read English here. Every time we order from talabat it’s wrong. I’ve ordered in last year at least 10 times. Each time the order is wrong. Today I ordered a mango smoothie and they send a random sprite!!!! I’m convinced the staff at this branch are incompetent and quite cruel. The atmosphere was good but did not enjoy the dining experience there. Their POS machine is not working properly and the cashier /staff failed to explain why our account was debited but shows on your system that it wasn't, when we received an sms from the bank twice. 😅 Putting our orders under 'promo code' is not a good solution.
