🇮🇹Best Italian Culinary Experience in Doha🇶🇦
Our dining experience began with a refined and flavorful introduction: a tasting of freshly baked focaccia, with a dough that was incredibly soft, fragrant, and well leavened, a simple element elevated to something truly memorable.
We then moved on to a “2person size” Quattro Formaggi pizza to share, topped with taggiasca olives, rocket leaves and Wagyu bresaola, which is their signature pizza. The combination was nothing short of brilliant: the richness of the cheeses melted into each other beautifully, while the delicate saltiness and buttery texture of the Wagyu bresaola added a luxurious depth that made each bite stand out.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the spectacular risotto with ossobuco. Masterful reinterpretation of a classic dish, it struck a perfect balance between tradition and innovation. The rice was impeccably cooked, the mantecatura smooth and silky, the texture luxuriously creamy, and the depth of flavor from the ossobuco was rich yet perfectly balanced with the other ingredients. (even the fabulous handmade gnocchi with morels and cheese sauce left us speechless)
The dining staff was very kind both in welcoming and serving us with professionalism and dedication.
What truly elevated the experience, however, was Chef Stefano who personally made sure that everything was flawless and to our liking, showing a rare level of dedication and care that nowadays is almost impossible to find! You are treated and pampered as if you were at home! I really felt the Italian warm and welcome! His passion, attention to details, and genuine commitment to excellence were felt in every bite and every gesture.
Outstanding dishes, made unforgettable by the presence of a chef who clearly puts his heart into his craft.
To close, we were served a fantastic Tiramisù, light, airy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness and bitterness. Each spoonful felt like the perfect ending to a well-thought-out and emotionally satisfying meal!

Read moreI had high expectations when I chose this restaurant for a birthday dinner, but it was a major letdown from start to finish. Despite informing the staff in advance that it was a birthday celebration and hoping for a surprise, the service was incredibly disappointing.
The main course was significantly delayed, and we only received it after we inquired. To make matters worse, the table next to us, who ordered after us, received their dishes much earlier, highlighting a clear difference in how we were treated.
The service was clumsy, and my friend was already upset with the service before she even realized it was meant to be a birthday dinner. The server ruined the surprise by loudly mentioning a hold order at our table. When the dessert finally came, they had misspelled my friend’s name, despite me spelling it out earlier.
While the Caesar salad and pizza were quite good, the rest of the food was average at best. For the price, I expected far better food and service. A manager did apologize, but he wasn’t in charge of the restaurant, so it felt more like a formality than genuine concern.
To add to the frustration, I received a call from the restaurant the next day asking for my feedback. When I asked how they didn’t know what had happened since I had already explained everything to the manager, the caller mentioned she hadn’t received any information about my experience. I had to repeat everything all over again, and she promised to look into the matter and get back to me—but she never did.
Overall, the experience left both of us disappointed, especially since it was meant to be a special occasion. Given the poor service and treatment, I will not be returning, nor would I recommend...

The staff greeted me with genuine hospitality, and their passion for Italian cuisine was evident in every aspect of the dining experience. From the moment we entered until we left, the hosts were there all throughout to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Mr. Yuvraj was an absolute wonder, he guided us with the best choices for our meal and made sure everything was perfect. His warm, welcoming nature definitely played a huge role in our dining experience at Cecconi's. A true hospitality connoisseur and a gem at Cecconi's. We were privileged enough to get the opportunity to have a word with the Sous Chef Mr. Gaur. He enlightened us on Cecconi's menu and how it's modern contemporary nature blends seamlessly well with Italy's ancient authentic cuisine. He not only took us through the history of Cecconi's but also gave a brief insight about his journey which definitely showcased his genuine passion for food.
