Al Hilal Turkish Restaurant مطعم الهلال التركي — Restaurant in Doha

I had a disappointing experience at Al Hilal Turkish restaurant, located opposite Al Bidda. First and foremost, the lack of proper air conditioning made the dining environment uncomfortable. When we ordered the Chicken Shawarma, it was shocking to see that the chicken wasn't even heated properly. We could observe the chef preparing our food, and it was clear they lacked attention to detail.

To make matters worse, they failed to serve bread and french fries with our order, and the french fries only arrived when we were nearly done eating. The cold chicken was difficult to digest, and this ruined our meal. We also ordered watermelon juice, but it was evident that the watermelon used was not fresh, and the drink was diluted with too much water.

Overall, our dining experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend eating at Al Hilal...

We had our dinner just few minutes ago and i could not leave the place without writing my comments and saying it to the owner: They have an extraordinary service and yummy meals. It will be One of my favourite restaurants around. The meals served rapidly and the rates were reasonable. Delicious food, waiters are very attentive, and super nice atmosphere. I Can totally recommend it and will definitely come back...

Great place with a great selection of dishes!

I had shawarma with rice. The serving was really big. In fact, I think I could have split it for two.

Freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious.

As a bonus, they have Turkish coffee for those who like it. Lovely to have it after the meal.
