Date : November 2, 2023 @ 1:00 PM My dining (lunch) experience at Max's - B Ring Road branch was a delightful journey through Filipino cuisine. The restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a memorable meal. 1. Warm Welcome: Upon entering, I was greeted by the friendly staff, which immediately made me feel at home. The warm hospitality was a preview of the genuine Filipino warmth that would accompany the entire meal specially the stafff: Noel and Marie are incredibly amazing. 2. Flavors of the Philippines: The menu at Max's offered a delectable array of Filipino dishes, and desserts. Each dish was a flavorful testament to the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines. 3. Max's Fried Chicken: The standout was undoubtedly Max's famous fried chicken. The crispy and tender chicken was a true masterpiece. It was served with a side of banana ketchup, providing the perfect balance of sweet and savory. 4. Mixed Sizzling Seafoods: It is absolutely delicious. 5. Starter: It was outstanding! 6. Memorable Moments: Sharing the meal with friends made the experience even more special. It was a reminder that food has the power to bring people together and create memorable moments. My dining (lunch) experience at Max's was a culinary journey through the flavors of the Philippines, and I left with a full heart and a craving for more. It was a true celebration of Filipino cuisine and hospitality that I won't soon forget. i was able to get 50 qar discount because it is my birth month (November). ❤️👍🤩 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Max's Restaurant is one of the oldest filipino restaurant in the Philippines. So, knowing that they have a branch here is a good thing. The best part is that, it taste the same too. This is my second time to eat in this branch and it still didn't disappoint me. The food always tastes good. The service is fast and friendly. The place is clean, smells good and follows covid protocols too. If you are craving for a filipino food or wanna taste a filipino food, then, this should be on your list. Must try are the pansit canton, chicken or beef sisig, kare kare, beef bulalo, lumpiang shanghai, pinakbet and leche flan. We tried the puto bumbong but sadly it didn't taste like the usual puto bumbong in the Philippines. However, most of the food are great. Will definitely come back again. P. S The serving per food is good for 2 to 3 persons. The price is affordable and if you have my book, entertainer and vodafone my book then it's a plus coz they honor it too. So, perfect for cheap eats and group.

⭐ Food: Max’s is famous for its “Sarap to the Bones” fried chicken, and it never disappoints us. The chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. We availed the “Chicken Love” platter. Everything tastes like home-cooked Filipino comfort food. ⭐ Service: The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. Our server Gary was exceptionally friendly, always checking in with a smile and ensuring we had everything we needed. They even gave us the free dessert, making us feel like valued guests and ⭐ Atmosphere: The restaurant has a cozy and family-friendly vibe, perfect for gatherings. The decor gives off a nostalgic Filipino feel, making it a great spot to enjoy traditional dishes. It’s a place that instantly feels like home. Overall, Max’s is more than just a restaurant—it’s a taste of home with outstanding service! Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Filipino food with a warm and welcoming dining experience.

Good day. I’m not usually the type to give bad reviews, but what we experienced at Max’s B Ring Road on October 28, 2025, was really disappointing. We traveled all the way from Al Khor to Doha craving Bangus Belly Sinigang, only to find out it wasn’t available that day. That’s fine, we understand.

So we ordered Kare Kare, Chopsuey, and Beef Sisig instead. First disappointment: our order took over 40 minutes to arrive. The table beside us, who came after us, got their food first. Fine, maybe their dishes were easier to cook. But then a group of 20+ people who came late for a birthday celebration got served before us. Papano po na-iserve yung order nila before us? I understand if it was pre-ordered but how can a restaurant ignore 3 dishes and serve a bunch for a group of ppl first? If you were in our situation, wouldn’t that be frustrating?

Then the food itself was disappointing. Kare Kare had only two small pieces of oxtail and a little tripe. We almost didnt have a taste of the meat since it was too boney. The taste was really bland, like watered down peanut butter. We had to add shrimp paste para lang magkalasang sisig. It DOESN’T taste like kare kare at all.

The Beef Sisig tasted okay, but there was way too much onion that it overpowered the beef. My husband called it Onion Sisig.

The Chopsuey had mostly cabbage, unevenly cut, and way too much sauce, so the vegetables were basically drowning. The chicken pieces were uneven too, some big, some really thin.

The only positive was our waiter, who was super attentive and apologetic. Kudos to him.

Mga kabayan na nasa kusina, kung kayo po ang customer na nakatikim sa sinerve niyo, panigurado magrereklamo po kayo. Paki ayos naman po ang luto....
