Adaar Thattukada — Restaurant in Doha

Adaar Tattukada (Old Airport Area) Today, my friend and I visited Adaar Tattukada in the Old Airport area, and we left disappointed. We ordered the Achayan Sathya, which was advertised by a lady as consisting of 21 items for 35 QR. However, the experience did not live up to expectations: • Portions: The portions were ridiculously small. o Beef: Just one spoon. o Fish: One piece (acceptable, but very small). o Chicken: Again, one spoon. o Mutton stew: Only the gravy, no pieces. o Duck: A tiny piece. o Appam: Only one. o Cake: small piece. -OK • The rest of the items included payaru thoran, chamathi, papad, sambar, rice, etc., which were average at best. Price vs. Value: For 35 QR, this was extremely overpriced. The quality and portions felt more like a 18 QR meal. Service: The hospitality was poor. Staff seemed disinterested, and the overall dining experience felt unwelcoming. Overall, we felt this was a disappointing experience with very little value for money. Adaar Thattukada was above our expectation to b frank. They r trying to maintain taste and Quality. Not much rush compared to its initial opening time which is good especially when gng with kids ...

Tried their Mango Salad which was recommended as Must try which is worth trying. Tried 3 starter nd all were absolutely too Good. Must try.

Vembayam chicken, Beef neeti porichathu nd beef edichathu...My fav one was Beef...

Main course we tried Mutton ghee roast and Beef peralan which was also an amazing try. They asked to try Fish Tawa masala which was found served in almost all tables...As we were full , we couldn't enjoy its real taste, expects to be Good when tried alone as its fast moving dish.

Neipathiri was average , not crispy...Kappa was Soft..Nice Pathiri was OK. Soup was Big flop. Neither hot nor Sour...No feel when taken...Openly expressed that concern to their staff straightaway...

Last tried Falooda which was also Good nd keeping up the standard.

Staff who served , a Big Thanks for recommending above dishes...We all loved it...Definitely will return back. Just check the pics, its self...

The Friday Breakfast Buffet service and food was terrible. Breakfast timing is from 5 AM to 10 AM (that's what I was told).

Arrived between 7:30 and 8:30 AM; the 99% of the dishes were not being refilled or replenished. The curry that was made available were made from chicken parts that is disregarded in average restaurants. And it was not even 9 AM.

At least the staff should have the courtesy to notify the customer before seating that the dishes are over and will not be refilled. Just because the breakfast buffet is only QAR 10 per head, doesn't mean the service of staff should be below substandard or the food being served is similar to what pet owners give their dogs and cats.

In disgust, paid the for the bill and walked out disappointed to another restaurant in Barwa. Who the hell wants to have a bad experience when it comes to food on a Friday Morning in Qatar????

Send your staff back to India to get some training in hotel management and services. Actual thattukadas (push carts) in India have more courtesy and situational awareness than this...
