I had the pleasure of dining at Sabatini, an authentic Italian restaurant with a charming terrace, and it was a culinary delight.

Pros:

Sabatini offers a delightful array of Italian cuisine, including mouthwatering pizzas, flavorful pasta, and savory meat dishes. The quality of the food is outstanding, capturing the essence of authentic Italian flavors. The wine selection complements the menu perfectly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. The service at Sabatini is exceptional—friendly and professional. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant and truly Italian dining experience.

Cons:

The only downside I could find is that the restaurant tends to be consistently crowded. During peak hours, securing a table without a reservation can be quite challenging. It's highly advisable to plan ahead and make a reservation, especially if you plan to dine during busy times.

In summary, Sabatini is a gem for lovers of Italian cuisine. The delicious food, great wine selection, and impeccable service create an authentic and enjoyable dining experience. While the popularity of the restaurant might mean a bit of a wait without a reservation, the overall experience is well worth the effort. I highly recommend Sabatini for anyone seeking a true...

Unfortunately for me my experience here was below the previous reviews by others. Maybe I touched on a bad night. :-(

The staff for me and I guess I'm ugly but they all could barely raise a smile. The food after ordering took over 40mins to arrive and unfortunately it was IMO not as described. I ordered the grilled fillet steak which was sooo chewy I had to leave it, it was cooked perfectly to a medium but I say this was not a fillet cut.

The waitress when she finally came to ask how the food was just took it away without saying anything. Then another waiter came over with the bill and plonked it on the table. Now, read this; I did not ask for discount or indeed did not expect any. They only charged me for the single house red and a bottle of water. I wanted to thank them for the consideration but nobody came or even approached me.

As I left I wanted to say thank you but again two members of staff just miserable faced walked past me and did not consider engagement.

Shame as I really made an effort to get here to...

Nice cozy atmosphere. Friendly-ish staff. A huge chunk of budget went into the interior design of the restaurant.

On the contrary to the above, it is sad to say that this is another example of Romanian business that got accustomed to the horrible taste of profit.

Prices are now high to inexplicably high for the specialities menu, and guess what...? Service takes too long (close to 45 minutes for a bruscheta - come on) and the so called "specialities menu" is way too imposed by personnel.

There is no explanation, for the refusal to serve any type of soups after 17:00 hours. There are diets that support the idea of soups for dinner, so why would a restaurant exclude it from the menu, makes no sense to me...

Let us not forget that the soup that made this place famous on Basarabiei boulevard (the goulash soup), used to be served all day long. I wonder when did generating profit get in the way of keeping...

I've been there accompanied by my dog with very short notice on a Saturday lunch. They are dog friendly, and this is a huge plus in Romania! The staff doesn't know how to refuse anything. They always find a way. I felt myself I was in a top-quality restaurant overseas. Smile, kindness, courtesy, fast and quality service, and the most important detail - DELICIOUS TASTY food! All the ingredients to get back to Sabatini are right there! I fully recommend this restaurant, and I know what am I talking about! I am Canadian and Romanian, living in North America and French Riviera for over 30 years and traveling all over the world, and my references are valuable as I am a picky fussy restaurant consumer! Enjoy, Sabatini! Bravo, Sabatini! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Best pasta I've had in Romania, bar none. I've had food that wasn't pasta here before and it was great but not memorable. Tonight I've tasted the pasta and it was the best pasta I've had outside of Italy. Tortellini we're great, skillet was super hot and took 10 min to cool down, don't order if really hungry, but awesome taste if you can be patient. 8/10 Penne quattro formaggi was great but a touch too much gorgonzola for my taste. 9/10. Caesar salad with schnitzel, it's more schnitzel than salad (literally a plate sized schnitzel topped with salad). Caesar dressing was minimal. 7.5/10 Pappardelle was far and away the best dish, probably the best in the whole menu and definitely the best pasta I've had outside of Italy. 10/10.
