Went with my wife twice in 2 days during a visit in the town. Private free parking available in front. We tried the following: rib-eye steak - above average cut, with a delicious celery puree and a not so inspired cucumber cut over it. Maybe replace the cucumber with some butter to make it better. beef cheeks with potato puree (good) and a demi-glace sauce (average, too salty) burrata with mango, salad and pine nuts (very simpe, fresh and tasty flavors) chicken liver pate - average, nothing to write home about bruschetta - this one seems from IKEA brand manual - you get all the ingredients separately. It was decent, except for the olives which were extremely salty. tripe soup - average, but gets the job done. Bar: the gin & cucumber cocktail was executed correctly, and they also have a brand of hot chocolate which I found surprisingly good and flavoured (named Yamanaca)
Service: 10/10, impeccable client handling on both occasions, fast, friendly, professional.
Atmosphere: great design, you can "see the investment" , but on both days there was at least a table of "chads" (bombardieri) loud, uneducated and generally ruining the setup.
Basically this place aims to be in the same league as the restaurants in the northern Bucharest area, in both design, menu and prices, but in a small town - this is not an easy task. They generally get it right, with...

Regrettably, my recent visit fell short of expectations on multiple fronts. The quality of the food was underwhelming, failing to deliver the flavors and culinary finesse one would anticipate. The garlic, a key ingredient that should add a subtle depth of flavor, was unfortunately burned. This not only overpowered the dish with an unpleasant bitterness but also strayed significantly from the authentic taste of this classic Italian dish. The mishandled garlic detracted from the overall dining experience. The ambiance, rather than being inviting and comfortable, lacked warmth and charm, detracting from the overall dining experience.
Moreover, the service was far from satisfactory. The staff's approach was not customer-centric, and their attention to detail was lacking our table no napkins other people had napkins. A particularly disconcerting incident was being admonished for my seating posture, an interaction that felt intrusive and unnecessary.
In essence, the combination of subpar food, lackluster ambiance, and unsatisfactory service made for a disappointing experience. I hope that the establishment takes this feedback into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.

Read moreThe restaurant is super classy, congrats to the designers! The food very tasty and fresh, they have a large variaty of meats and pasta, also a page full of desserts ❤️ I will come here every time i visit Ramnicu Valcea.
Mult succes in continuare! Imi mentin reviewul...
