Pasta Fresca — Restaurant in округ Смольнинское

One of my favourite places lately - lovely interior, unusual but warm approach to clients (I am especially vague here so as not to spoil the surprise :), and, most importantly, delicious home-made pasta (there is a small variety of excellent fixed positions, and a wide choice of build-your-own pasta elements to create a meal best suitable for your tastes)! The only downside (and in some way its strength) is that it is a relatively small and popular place which means that you should probably get a table booked in advance. RACISM ALERT!!

Denied table / entry cuz we were foreigners. We we twice at different times when the seating was entirely empty but they kept denying us and said there’s no seat available whereas all the tables were empty. The first time we went, they said that they’re maintaining social distancing so they cant give us a table whereas in reality, people were sitting on two consecutive tables but they didn’t allow us to sit. The second time we went, the restaurant was almost empty and...

Great little pasta place with a good vibe and atmosphere! The host was really helpful and spoke great English which is really refreshing in a city where English is spoken sparsely. Food was really nice and the host helped us with info and knowledge to help our decision making. I had the Spätzle and my wife the pesto pasta, both of which were very tasty and exactly what we were after!
