The idea of this place is cool. BUT it has so many CAN'T-imagine things which is unbelievable for nowadays restaurant business in St Pete. The place is a kind of must visit on Rubinsheina str. so its here you can find many tourists and hipsters. Very loud and overcrowded during summer and weekends in low season. Ive been here 4 times and all the time spent from 30 to 45 min to get my food. They got interesting menu - its all about Israel but honestly once you try, you ll see that many things are not as tasty as described in menu. The restroom is untidy! Finally once you lucky to catch a waiter your next step will be WAIT for a food and ask for it from 2 to 5 times. They got a blond waiter who has not even a knowledge how to be a waiter and how to serve in polite manner. He was absolutely IMPOLITE and answered in rude way. Is it some kind of new concept when you pay and have to listen bad comments and reaction from staff once you asking common questions? My last drop of patience is over - I will NEVER visit it again. You guys have to think about your guests...
Read moreWell, what can we say about the place where a waitress serves a drink with liquor to a child and says it’s non-alcoholic one!! Then another one tries to convince us, even brought a bottle with different stuff to prove it, that there is none of it in the hot chocolate we had tasted. We were not charged for that one (had to suggest it ourselves to stop an argument) but had to listen to silly excuses instead of a simple apology!! Furthermore, I wanted to know what the name of the place means and what it says on the t-shorts the staff wear but couldn’t get an answer (which is alright not to know) but why promising to come back with the answer and not to…. Now, the toilet! It’s hot, it’s smells of food, and there was a gang of free flies (bet they are still there flying from toilet seat to the customer’s faces) bothering me while I was trying to avoid them doing number one!! (One of those is on the pic) It’s not a bad place, actually it was busy and dessert was nice but poorly trained staff had ruined our impression! Lame...
Read moreThe first visit on Friday night was a bit of fail cause we didn’t expect that there wouldn’t be any chance to get closer to the bar as the place was stuffed up with happy lads and ladies, so we took some takeaway shawarmas. They tasted pretty good, but it was not enough. Today we came back and had a free table. Tried three excellent Jewish dishes and two magnificent cocktails. The waitress acted like a hyper-skilled-pro and smiled like a Miyazaki anime girl character, unfortunately, don’t know her name, but she had a t-shirt with a Clockwork Orange text on it “Korovamilk Bar”. Thanks to her and the chefs. Verdict: 5...
