A Review For Wheelchair Users... I, after my bizarre experience at Hard Rock Cafe Moscow, was really hoping to have at least 1 evening out in Moscow that wasn't a disaster. I came to this TGI Fridays because it is a part of a much bigger venue called The Atrium.
There are a handful of restaurants to choose from if you'd like a meal out, and I really wanted to compare this TGI's with that of the most disabled unfriendly's Warsaw restaurant. You know the one where they shout at you and tell you to order the food for delivery because there is no access. Well this one, and there are a few TGI's in Moscow, was not much better than Warsaw's. No disabled toilet. No real disabled entrance, no entrance from the shopping centre either, you have to leave and then enter from outside. The staff, like usual, bewildered as to what to do with a wheelchair user. Here's a hint, don't leave me waiting an hour for a fork for example. My waiter actually took my cutlery away, so that I could eat like a monkey I guess... Took me a while to get someone's attention to replace the cutlery. I ordered fried prawns with Jack Daniel's sauce and it was meant to come with chips/fries /fritters but I only received 10 skinny fries, with 6 pieces of shrimp, not prawns! It was like the kiddy meal honestly, and not worth the money. No one helped to open the door on my way out, and no offense Moscow, but TGI's is a British/American brand, so as much as you may not want to, learn some English, since there wasn't 1 Russian item on your menu! And don't be rude and just disappear when you know someone in a wheelchair needs utinsels to eat their food. Just give them the cutlery!!!
Wheelchair users do know there is only a teeny tiny section where we can be seated, the rest if the restaurant is upstairs, and of course in a newly built restaurant they never thought to put in a lift!?!?! Honesty, its just so depressing.... Why do you not care about us Moscow? Why? ПОЧЕМУ?!?!?!?! The staff were aloof and it was like a bunch of zombies guandlessly walking around, spending mist of their time upstairs where the music was and well,...
Read moreWas very disappointed this time, most likely it is our last visit. First, they served us coke in dirty glasses, you could say the glasses were after the orange juice, as the fleshes were floating in soda. Then, our two friends ordered soda, and both of the bottles were warm, we asked for ice. We ordered a Tennessee burger, instead of which we were offered to agree to get the chicken burger, because there was a confusion at the kitchen, well fine, we did not want to ruin our evening. In addition, I ordered celery as a side dish, which I did not get at all. Of course it was included in our bill. We were very open and friendly as the waiter was really nice, but at the end we are still left very upset because when we said about what happened to the manager, she was completely indifferent. What a pity, this was one of scarce places that can serve...
Read moreThis restaurant is in Atrium mall. Nice ambience, just right after pizza. It is international chain, photos on the menu card just mouthwatering. Maybe it is my luck but went there few times and found out lately that quality of food is gone down. Steaks used to be nice anything else like pasta or signature drinks lost it's original flavour. Good for crowd get together and time pass but not for gourmet dining...
