Today had the pleasure of dining at a charming restaurant that specializes in serving American breakfast, and I must say, it was an experience that truly made me feel like I was at home. The level of professionalism and exceptional customer service provided by the staff was truly commendable. It was evident that all the waiters had undergone extensive training, as they were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
One aspect of this restaurant that immediately caught my attention was the open kitchen concept. The kitchen seamlessly integrated with the dining area, allowing guests to catch a glimpse of the culinary magic happening behind the scenes. Despite its openness, there was no trace of any unpleasant odors wafting through the air. Instead, it added to the overall ambiance and created a delightful atmosphere within the restaurant.
During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting the chef who hails from South Africa. His warm and friendly demeanor instantly made us feel welcome. What impressed me even more was his genuine care for our little one. He graciously welcomed our baby toddler and even surprised us with extra strawberries and fries for him. This thoughtful gesture truly exemplified their commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Speaking of food, let me just say that this restaurant knows how to whip up a mean American breakfast! The prices were incredibly reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes offered. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was cool and inviting, with comfortable seating arrangements in a clean and neat environment. Additionally, they ensured accessibility for handicap individuals, which is always appreciated.
Now let's talk about their mouthwatering dishes. The pancakes were an absolute delight - fluffy, light, and oh-so-yummy! Each bite felt like a heavenly cloud melting in my mouth. Their buttermilk breakfast combination was equally impressive; every component complemented each other perfectly to create a harmonious symphony of flavors on my palate. And let's not forget about the egg Benedict, which was cooked to perfection. The hollandaise sauce was rich and velvety, perfectly coating the poached eggs and English muffin.
While my dining experience was exceptional overall, there is one small recommendation I would like to make regarding the French toast with berries. It would be beneficial for guests who prefer to have the sauce on the side, as it tended to make the toast a bit soggy until we had a chance to dig in. However, this is merely a minor suggestion in an otherwise flawless breakfast experience.
To top off our delightful meal, the chef surprised us with a complementary pecan pie. The sweet and nutty flavors danced on my taste buds, leaving me with a satisfied smile on my face. This small gesture truly exemplified their commitment to going above and beyond for their customers.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a restaurant that serves American breakfast with a touch of home-like comfort and excellent premium customer service, look no further than this gem. From the well-trained staff to the inviting atmosphere and delectable dishes, every aspect of our visit left us thoroughly impressed. Whether you're craving fluffy pancakes or perfectly poached eggs Benedict, this restaurant will undoubtedly satisfy your breakfast cravings. Just remember my little tip about ordering the French toast with berries...

Read moreNice place, seems relatively new.. visiting my family in Riyadh and it was recommenede to me for breakfast/brunch.. took my 3 kids and nephew (all under 12yrs old)..they open at 10am though so we were out by 9 ish, stopped at Jarir in Rubeen plaza first... we usually have breakfast pretty early...
My 2 younger kids loved the nutella berry buttermilk pancakes.. tasted some, I would have to say I have not had pancakes this good in a while.. a lot of breakfast places usually upset me with pancakes that are either too dry or too doughy in the middle.. the kitchen staff at Buttermilk know their pancakes!
My eldest ordered the new pumpkin spice pancakes which he liked but the portion was not big enough for him so he was a bit disappointed and still hungry afterwards.. My nephew had the BLT benedict which he liked.. and I had the spinach omlete which was ok but nothing to write home about..
Ordered the biscuits for them to try, liked the flavor but there a bit too baked (crunchy) for my taste..
We all had fresh orange juice as well, waiters might need to consider serving them in plastic cups with covers when there are kids involved.. was a nice BIG glass which my youngest eventually spilled.. had my black coffee in a nice big mug, but since we were outside it got a bit cold quickly.. would love it if there was a refillable coffee option instead of being charged for another cup of coffee..
Restaurant decor and ambiance was very cosy, very friendly staff, especially the greeters at the door..
Main issue we had was with finding the place, as it is in what looks like a new office building, there is a ramp you have to drive up, the sign is not super clear (might want to reconsider the size or placement)..
we sat outside on the second floor as the weather is amazing in Riyadh there days.. all in all a great experience and would deffinitely come back.. maybe to try out the...
