Forno Del Buffone — Restaurant in Al Maathar Municipality

We visited the restaurant today and we were not disappointed. The setting is themed as per the name of the restaurant "buffone-joker"; the cutlery, colors and decorations are joyful and vibrant. The service was exquisite and a big shout out to Adnan who supported us today. He took the time to recommend dishes that were all yummy. He even took extra measures to ensure that allergy causing ingredients were attended to. As for the food, we enjoyed all the dishes. We had the arancini, the Italian dynamite (that is marinated in pesto sauce), Buffone roll, lasagna and truffle pizza. They were all very good. The arancini were beautifully crisp with melted cheese and mushroom in the middle, the Shrimps were very tasty and different from the far east style and the roll was yummy. The lasagna was very good and we honestly all wanted to end our meal with the after taste of the lasagna. The only comment would be on the pizza that had mushroom rather than Truffles on them and the taste of truffle was very subtle. With a DJ spinning an impressive selection of music, the energy in the restaurant is always lively and inviting. It's the perfect backdrop for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. The staff at Forno del Buffone are top-notch. They're incredibly well-trained, professional, and presentable, making sure you feel welcome from the moment you step in. The management team is also fantastic, frequently checking in with guests to ensure everyone is having a great time. What pleasantly surprised me were the prices. They are very well balanced and not expensive at all, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. Forno del Buffone has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Highly recommended!

I recently dined at Forno del Buffone, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food is simply amazing. We started with the roasted mushroom soup, which was rich and flavorful—definitely a must-try! The burrata salad was equally delightful, with the perfect balance of creaminess and fresh ingredients.

For our main courses, we ordered the piccata and the truffle in trouble. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and passion for Italian cuisine.

The service was outstanding! Adnan, our waiter, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the manager was equally attentive. The staff made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our meal.
