I visited your restaurant yesterday, and unfortunately, my experience fell far below expectations, primarily due to the waiter’s attitude. The behavior was shockingly rude and unprofessional, especially considering I was hosting my guests. I tried my best to remain composed, but the situation was disappointing.
We requested that the tea be served alongside the food, only for the waiter to respond curtly, stating, “That’s not how we do things here,” followed by another dismissive comment. Such an attitude is completely unacceptable in hospitality. The role of your staff is to serve customers and ensure their satisfaction, not to impose restaurant rules on them repeatedly. Guests come with different preferences, and the aim should be to enhance their overall experience, not diminish it.
On top of that, the food was mediocre, which compounded the disappointment. This visit left a negative impression on what I had hoped would be an enjoyable outing. I strongly encourage you to address these issues, particularly with staff training and food quality, to align with the standards of excellent customer...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about my visit today: The reservation lady claimed the restaurant is full except at 7:00pm. We went there at 7:00pm and stayed till 8:30; the restaurant was mostly empty. This is a totally unacceptable behaviour. The Saudi waitress was excellent, knowledgeable and spoke with a perfect Lebanese accent. While the food is mostly good, it is definitely not outstanding, and definitely not Em Sherif standard. Many Lebanese restaurants in Riyadh are way better. تبولة، بطاطا حرة، سجق are below standard Fattoush, hummus with shawarma and cheese puff are excellent Service is very professional and courteous, but lacks human interaction. The manager was overseeing the operations, but did not try to interact with customers. Last comment concerns the price tag: the item prices are ridiculously expensive!!! We paid SR1,200 for 3 people!!! I don't think your operation will be sustainable at these levels. Moreover, I can see that you are trying to make it look like a privilege to be able to dine at Em Sherif. This is not the case.... Will I ever go again? I very...
Read moreDONT GO FOR IFTAR!! 280 riyal per person can get you in a better place with better food selection. The Harira soup was stone cold and had no meat inside. The hummus had no olive oil, the selection of salads and mezze was horrid. Fattoush without dressing, fried eggplant the we couldn’t eat, we were promised 17 items and received the above, then came Foul.. foul that costs 280 riyals!! And a shawarma sandwich for two people!!! Main course was blaban emmo with a stench coming from the meat you can smell it a mile away, and two skewers of mixed grill, which was the highlight of the iftar. For dessert we had Em Ali and half filled atayef.
We had to get up to call a server for bread.. it came dry!! A complete RIP OFF! I would pay 50 riyal for all this food! Low quality and lousy presentation.
1/10 over all. Waste of...
