I’ve stayed here twice. The first time was ok, the second wasn’t good at all. The rooms are very nice; a great deal of space. If there was anything I’d change about the room, it’d be to make the desks in every room normal. My first room had a good desk. The second room had a curvy desk which didn’t really seem like a desk. The design of the hotel has a pretty big flaw in my opinion; the hotel has two towers and the only way to get to the other side of the hotel is to go down to the first floor or the mezzanine floor to cross over. This would be fine if there was a gym on both sides, but there isn’t. Many times I’d wake up in the morning and go to the gym. Breakfast starts early, so you’re walking through a dining space to go to and from the gym. If you choose to go down to the mezzanine floor to cross, it is no better. I’d rather not walk through a restaurant or a lobby on my way to or from the gym. Maybe that is just a personal preference, but I am very aware of my appearance when I am in a foreign country with different norms, especially when I am there for business. Out of respect I tend to always wear smart casual attire except for when I am in the gym (i.e. slacks and a shirt/polo). Not sure who thought that was a good idea during the design, but maybe a path to the gym that requires less than 6 staff members greeting you whilst you’re sweaty with gym clothes on. Next issue was the reception. I booked my room well in advance. My booking had some extras associated with it. I’m almost certain they removed all of them due to the busy period (they had some FIFA execs & referees staying in the hotel for the club World Cup), although I have no way to prove this. They charged my card only for me to realise that none of them were included. When I brought it up with the male and female at reception, they said there was nothing they could do. They offered a refund and told me I could try to rebook it on the app knowing full well that it’d be double the price if I tried to rebook it if there was any availability at all. I’d also have to wait 5-10 business days to see the refund and have the inconvenience of finding another place to stay after travelling. I thought that was an incredibly poor suggestion and didn’t make me feel welcomed at all. To make it worse, I had a few colleagues check-in a few days after me and they made the changes on the spot. I essentially felt trapped in a hotel I did not want to be in and I spent the last few days of my time in Jeddah in a different hotel which I won’t name so this review doesn’t get written off as a promotion for another place. The location isn’t really great, but it does depend on what you are there to accomplish. If you’re there travelling between many spots, the highway is right there and it is in a central location for anywhere you want to go. If you want to go for a nicer area, there are some good options with a sea view that’d suit a family looking for a slower paced environment. There are not many options for walking where this hotel is located, which is why I believe the hotel is better suited for someone there who is driving to a few spots and needs to be more central. I’ll end with a positive. The breakfast there is actually very good. The staff at the restaurant are great (which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 for service). The lounge is also very nice. More spacious with a good amount of private rooms for meetings and phone calls. The glass doors do a good job at concealing the sound when closed. The breakfast and the lounge is what made me go back to this hotel for a second visit, but I had neither for my second visit and felt like I was told to put up with it or leave. It must be noted that I was more than happy to pay more for both additions. I’m sure they’ll treat other people better (considering they did it almost a day after I had the same issue). Maybe I’ve stayed about 30 nights in Marriott hotels, just in November and December alone, and the nights spent here during my second visit were by...

The Jeddah Marriott on Madinah Road is getting to be my new: “Home Away from Home” as on each stay I feel very welcomed and so much “at home”.|I just completed a fantastic seven day stay at the Jeddah Marriott and I look forward to my return visit.|My stay started with the hotel’s driver collecting me from the Airport. I had made my Airport Pickup the day before, so I felt that there may be a problem due to the short notice. As I departed from the North Terminal there was my driver with a sign board indicating my name. The car was a very nice Chinese built car, and he was a very safe driver.|When I entered the lobby of the Marriott, each employee welcomed me and said welcome back, Mr. Webber.|My very early Check in was no problem and the process was completed in an expeditious manner by a very professional employee. She also greeted me by welcoming me back and asked about my flight. Then she informed me that my reservation was upgraded to a suite and was in the newly opened North Tower. |My suitcase was waiting for me in my suite.|The suite was very nicely decorated and on the sofa table was a wide assortment of special sweets; fruits, mixed nuts, sparkling water, and a very nice letter from the GM welcoming me back to the Marriott. |My suite had two large televisions, a large King size bed and a very interesting “window” between the bath room and the main sitting room. This window had louvers which could be adjusted thus assuring privacy. Very unique…|The bathroom had a large walk-in shower unit and a separate water closet containing the toilet. The bathroom had all the amenities that one could wish for including a shaving kit; tooth brush; comb, extra soap, Q-tips and in the shower, they had shampoo; conditioner and shower gel.|All-in-all this was an extremely comfortable room.|The main restaurant within the Jeddah Marriott was called The Olive Tree and this is where the breakfast buffet was being served each morning. |Just off the Lobby is a very large M Club Lounge, which is exclusive for the Marriott Bonvoy members. The M Club lounge has three separate meeting rooms and a large seating area. Each evening between 5:30 to 7:30 they offer a nice dinner buffet.|For recreation and fitness, the hotel offers a nice outdoor swimming pool; fully equipped fitness center; sauna; steam room and a very nice Spa.|Finally, the hotel offers a rent-a-car company, which I used during my stay.|So, you can see why I call the Jeddah Marriott my true: “Home...

My recent stay at Marriott Jeddah was a mixed experience. While the property is conveniently located—just 10 minutes from the airport and within reasonable distance to Mall of Arabia (a few minutes) and Red Sea Mall (around 15–20 minutes)—there were some inconsistencies that affected my overall satisfaction. I had booked two rooms in the same category, yet the first room assigned to me was noticeably smaller than the second, which felt unfair. Additionally, there was no welcome basket or complimentary items in the room, and the minibar was completely empty. Upon inquiry, I was told that such amenities are reserved exclusively for Titanium and Platinum members, which was disappointing, especially considering that the hotel appeared to be operating well below full capacity. When I requested rooms on the same floor, I was informed that nothing was available—again, surprising given the low occupancy. The breakfast offering was modest and lacked variety, which may not meet the expectations of frequent travelers used to a more extensive spread at properties of this caliber. On a positive note, the front desk staff were courteous and welcoming, and their professionalism is commendable. Just be mindful that the hotel is located on Madina Road, which tends to get quite congested during peak hours. Overall, while Marriott Jeddah has some conveniences and friendly service, there’s room for improvement in consistency, hospitality offerings, and responsiveness to guest preferences.

A Five-Star Experience at Jeddah Marriott Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jeddah Marriott Hotel, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality and professionalism of the staff made me feel truly welcomed. The rooms were impeccably clean, elegantly designed, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in housekeeping did not go unnoticed, ensuring a relaxing and refreshing environment throughout my visit. A special mention goes to the futoor and suhoor buffet crew for their outstanding service and dedication. Their attentiveness and genuine care truly elevated my experience, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s dining options were fantastic, offering a delightful selection of dishes that catered to both local and international tastes. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, with fresh ingredients and a variety of options to start the day right. Moreover, the hotel’s location is ideal, providing easy access to key attractions in Jeddah while maintaining a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. Overall, my stay at Jeddah Marriott Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. The team here goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jeddah, whether for business or leisure. I look forward to returning soon!

Upon our stay here at JW Marriott Jeddah, we had a lovely experience with meeting such diligent committed staff and in whom were very detailed oriented in providing great service here at the hotel. It has been a pleasure staying here. We have been attended with great hospitality from Mr Sheto Shaik in our mornings at the hotel restaurant during our breakfast with family. He has been so wonderful in his interactions with my son and keeping us informed on menu options and our start of the day if we were to need further assistance. Sheto helped us recover from our travels during this trip. We had went for Umrah at Mecca for the day and we got back and were able to take herbs and tea to get proper rest. We have had great housekeeping service with Balal and Rustom who took special care of our room and gave sweet gestures during our stay and informed us for any updates. Janine has been so friendly and giving us time as to attend to us during our visit as well. She has the warmest smile, also providing hospitality to our family. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel and the people who give such warm welcome to us and got to know us personally to make sure we were comfortable with our stay here overall. I give it all 5 Stars! Will miss the people here as they are very kind and were helpful during our experience and time spent well in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Insha’Allah we will return in the future
